SUPERMAN RESTORED A Brief Note
This edit of SUPERMAN RETURNS will allow you to connect more strongly with Superman and his alter ego Clark Kent while sharing a greater understanding of the characters throughout his emotional journey.
The intention of this project originally started with the idea of creating a definitive version of Superman: The Movie using elements from both the Richard Donner and Richard Lester films respectively. Unsatisfied with the result it was decided to abandon that project in favor of attempting to “fix” what were perceived as inherit problems with Superman Returns.
Unfortunately the filmmakers set out to tell a very bloated and laborious story that is almost impossible to get around without excising massive amounts of material which exist to create the overall structure. The goal with this version of the film was to make as many, if not all, of the alterations as smooth and
unnoticeable as possible.
If you weren’t interested in that story in its initial release then unfortunately that film was not for you. However, if you were but felt that the film lacked an even greater emotional character arc then you will probably find this version of Superman Returns a much more satisfying experience.
THIS EDIT WAS PREVIOUSLY MADE AVAILABLE ONLINE BUT HAS BEEN OUT OF CIRCULATION. A NEW EXPORT WILL PRIVATELY BE SHARED HERE AT A HIGHER BIT RATE THAN WAS PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE. HOWEVER, THE QUALITY IS STILL DEPENDENT ON THE ORIGINAL BLURAY RELEASE WHICH UNFORTUNATELY LEFT MUCH TO BE DESIRED.
