How long do you think it will be until you release it? I'm very impatient to see this now...teasing us with a teaser like that.

But yeah, the teaser was great, because with the soundtrack and only showing the bad guys as real badasses (instead of the slapstick humor that was used in the movie), it gives it this real epic feel that I love. They never, ever should have made Zod and them humorous or stupid like they did.

Just saw the commercial. They showed Clark in the DP saying "Lois, What are you doing?" And then they showed Lois crawling out the window.

They also showed Superman punching Non.

You're not going to get any useable footage out of it.

It's to coincide with the announcement of the November Donner Cut.

Excellent stuff Sky. Im really enjoying seeing these.......although I cant get the first trailer to work. Or the intro. I can only get the making of effects to work.

The trailer crashes Real Player ..ahh, managed to get it working in Windows Media Player.

This has inspired me to re-do a trailer I did for Superman 2 3 years ago! (but now with my knowledge of video etc.)

I'm not happy with how the music just kicks in but that needs work
also some credits still have spelling mistakes need to be fixed
but i uploaded this as some people haven't seen it

I think the way you've edited together the opening is pretty good. I still can't get used to the silvery/chromey text. Though I have to say that the movement as they 'fly' off-screen is fluid and makes it fit as Superman credits. Hope to see this project continue.

Nice beginning. A vast improvement over the original. I like your titles, for the most part, but I think they look a little too crisp. Have you tried adding noise, or filmg grain to them so they don't stand out so much?

BTW, glad you're taking the paris scene out of your cut. Me too.

both of you are right
they do look a bit too crispy so what iv dont now is gone back to the original blue text still keeping them 3D
like i have here
but with the blue Trail added on i did a test of the blue trail which i will be uploading tonight on just one of the
the names in the credits its just a test shot for you guys to comment on before i do the whole thing

I think the blue is a bit too light and the glow around the text is too large.

I think it would better serve the film if you tried to keep it faithful to the original font personally.

Super Crystal 2 with Intro

I think it would be better if the editing was as quick. As Supes throws the missile into space I think it would be better if we saw a little of supermans reaction as he threw it and of the missile being thrown. Basically, use as many frames as you can.

Then when the missile is thrown into space I would use footage from a movie where we see a nuclear missile going through space (Superman 4 has the perfect shot, but it would involve pasting out Supermans flying cape)

Then by lowering the sound, have it running out of power and then the explosion.

Then The Phantom Zone exploding.

Really like how you did that by the way, along with Supes looking to the other missile and diverting his attention away from Zod and co. Really adds layers to when you watch STM!

For the intro, you could fade in to the sound of men talking...

Its Lex speaking to Superman about his plans, saying he gets around a lot. Then have Lex saying about a nuclear missile at this exact location etc. then have him pounding it with his Stick.

Then have the footage of the first missile being fired etc.

I would also use the music from Superman The Movie because it sounds better than Ken Thornes (Williams had a bigger orchestra)

What I've seen is very impressive and i hope you continue with the project.
