If someone could torrent Moth3r's TESB DVD to MySpleen I would be forever greatful.

As someone who lives in a PAL standard nation, I gotta say thus far in regards to video detail clarity, Moth3r's SW rip has beaten any of the NTSC rips I have, and I've got most of them, so I'd love to see the TESB rip. Not to say the NTSC ones are not good, coz they great too, but just stating Moth3r's PAL version is so far the best for those with PAL TV's!!!!

The Classic Re-re-re-release of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back.
In this version the word "WOOKIE" has been changed to "HAIR CHALLENGED ANIMAL" and the entire cast has been digitally replaced by Ewoks.

They're still on MySpleen I think. But one thing that isn't on MySpleen, and I'd VERY MUCH like to see posted on a.b.starwars, is the new Cowclops set...

So who's posting the pars for my release right now? I wonder if they can do the same thing on a.b.dvdr. I'll be out of town till Wednesday or I'd try and do it myself. If I wasn't a total usenet noob I would have done it in the first place.

Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong place but i just wanted to ask if anyone else was having a problem getting the moth3r ESB off of A.b.starwars.

Rar file 02 and 83 are showing as corrupt when trying to extract the files into the image file. Does anyone else have any ideas where i might find other copies of these files?

If you have downloaded the par2 files, checked the set and repaired any duff rar files, all should be OK.

Other than that, I am short of ideas for you..............

Hi thanks for the reply it wasn't the par2 files as they don't appear to all be available.

It was the complete set of TESB Original Edition Laserdisc to DVDR transfer in PAL format mthr-swtesb.nfo" yEnc

I'm trying to get this for myself and boba feta and it's a shame that two rar files can't be repaired to resolve the problem.

How many blocks are corrupt in the two files?

How many blocks in the par2 files available?

Have you tried repairing the two files with QuickPar?

Par2 files were posted and I used them to repair 4 damaged files.

In case you do not have the initial par2 file for the Moth3r TESB fileset, I have reposted this for you.

Download this, put it in the same folder as all the rar files, run QuickPar as per Moth3r's instructions and this will highlight just how many blocks short you are to complete the fileset.

You will then need some more of the larger par2 files to do the repair..........

BTW. Moth3r. this is an excellent transfer and I am so looking forward to seeing the trilogy completed.

Yeah sorry about that at the time I picked this as a username for my internet account I had gotten so fed up trying to find a good free one I picked one that nobody else would ever pick.

I totally forgot how it might be perceived, sorry to everyone for the mental images that may occur. I would like to point out that it's a platonic thing, honest.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone I was able to sort out the corrupt files thanks to everyone's advice.

I am pleased that you got sorted with your download of the PAL TESB DVD. Welcome to the world of Usenet Binaries..............

Compared to torrents, Usenet is a bit harder to use but the files tend to download much faster so it is worth it in the end.

Just wondering if anyone else out there has downloaded the Episode III ISO posted by HawgPost. Just wondering if there is any info on the creator of this ISO, is it HawgPost or has he simply released it to the community? The video and audio quality are pretty good, but not as good as the Zion release though it has a different menu and appears to have the original title sequence, crawl and credits. It also looks as if the video is stretched vertically which is only noticable when comparing screen caps to the Zion release.

As you can see the Zion release wins hands down in terms of PQ. So if you're only going to download one Episode III release this summer make it the Zion release! Though if your strapped for bandwidth the HawgPost release is quite a bit smaller.

What are the odds of acquiring this edit via anything other than newsgroups? I tried to wade through all of the 'fucks' and 'you suck (anything rhyming with rock)' over at MF but just got aggravated...

Just out of interest, what is preventing you downloading from newsgroups??

Is it bandwidth, the lack of a premium account or just lack of knowledge??
