Anyone know whether the most recent postings -- Star Wars I, Star Wars II, Droids, Ewoks -- are anything other than the official releases? There are no info files, and no one here has mentioned posting them, which makes me think that they are. I don't even want to download them just to check . . .

Droids and Ewoks are both the official releases I believe. Ewoks is not the cartoon but the Two live action movies. They might have a different menu setup because I know the Ewok movies was a double-sided dvd originally. In these there's a top menu where you select which movie menu to go to.

Also I have a request. Does someone mind posting the two titles "bh007: Star Wars Heroes & Villians" and "bh005: The A to Z of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones" on a.b.starwars? I'd like to use those discs as special features for my custom prequel fan-edit set. The torrents for them on myspleen are practically dead and I can't connect to the couple seeds that are there. Thanks in advance.

But I was going to go to tosche station to pick up some power converters!

For those that are interested, I have posted ADM's SL edit of Episode I on a.b.starwars. It's my first attempt at posting something like this, and if it goes smoothly, I'll try to get the rest of the ADM edits up, barring objections.

Episodes II and III are now up (SL only) I'll get the OT edits up some time this week, as well as the ADM-DE version of Ep. 4.

Jesus...my bandwith is gonna disappear fast!!!! Only allowed to dl 30gig a month (from NTL-hell). Oh well, suppose I'll be getting a phone call soon.

Methinks you do not need to worry about your ntl 30Gb a month...............

According to their website, anything up to 2Mb is now unlimited downloads and the 10Mb is limited to 75Gb downloads a month. With that, the free newsgroups and the 55Mb of free webspace, ntl are looking pretty good at the moment.

Fantastic!! That's changed in the last couple of months then cos last time i heard it was limited to 30gb for anything except 10mb which was 75gb a month.

I'm gonna go downloading crazy....now only if someone could repost the Wookie Groomer Split Screen Original Trilogy on Usenet

Also, does anyone know a link where I can download the covers for the ADM edits?

How can you guys live with those download limits?! April's GB count is up to 152 right now... and I pay only 7,50 a month for my server.

Found more ADM covers at Boba Feta's website - just google 'Boba Feta'. The ESB cover from myspleen did came out all fuzzy but Boba Feta came to the rescue.

Just to clarify - The ADM Episode IV edit going up now is NOT the ADM-Darth Editous Hybrid. I'll probably post that after Episode V and Episode VI v2.0

Following the runaway success of my original guide,

How to get Newsgroups/Usenet/alt.binaries.starwars - Part 1 (a.k.a.What are these newsgroup things and how the hell do I get them???

comes the eagerly awaited sequel,

How to get Newsgroups/Usenet/alt.binaries.starwars - Part 2 (a.k.a.What on earth are NZB files and how do they help me???)

The new guide may be common knowledge. If so, WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME!!!!!!!!

I hope this helps..............

This will of course be a guide in 3 parts which will then get changed to Parts 4, 5 and 6. In a few years time I will re-launch the pages with all new graphics and hyper trendy digital effects which nobody will like. The far inferior Parts 1, 2 and 3 will then follow on from that. I will then re-write Parts 4, 5 and 6 to match the creative decisions I made in the prequels. Then, one day in the dim and distant future, someone will create a website called www.originalguide.com to try to get the original guides re-released in their original format and many people will spend many hours trying to re-create the original guides..........

I need to get out more!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soon after that I plan to post the Jedi/Feta Definitive Collection capture, for those who are interested.

Hi, I just tracked down all the wonderful goings-on in these forums. I managed to snag ADM's EPIV and VI DL versions, and I'm in the process of getting EP 2.5. Is there any hope of getting the EPV DL version posted?? My retention goes back to Feb 11, and I don't see it.

Any chance of getting the The Darth Editous only edition of Ep IV? The The Darth Editous/ADigitalMan Hybrid Edition keeps getting posted but I haven't seen the other one. The DE looks to be nearest the original Theatrical version from the DVD source?

For those that may be interested (me especially) Mallwalker has posted ADigitalMan's Dialogue Free Musical Journey onto alt.binaries.starwars.

Now I've got a brand spanking new DVD Re-Writer I can finally burn off all the great stuff bwlag has posted over the past week or two and this from Mallwalker.

My Star Wars collection is starting to look mightily impressive thanks to these two guys.
