Hey Kay!

Sorry 'bout that... I'll get more parts upped tonight. I checked newshosting last night and saw there were incompletes. I have only bellsouth (my upload 'portal') to blame. Check later this evening!

Yeah, I'm including the standard 10% PAR2. But I just checked, and everything is complete over here, so it must be your server. It could also be you started your download a bit too early, and haven't given your server the time to catch up. Have you tried downloading the older broken files again?

I have been back and re-downloaded the bad files and have also done the same using my Astraweb account. No matter how I do it, Agent says that the files are damaged and only saves a much smaller file to my HDD. QuickPar then spits them out and laughs at me too!!!!!

Grinder's Star Wars Original Trilogy - Episode IV.part034.rar and Grinder's Star Wars Original Trilogy - Episode IV.part035.rar were saved as 625kB files by Agent - nowhere near the 48,828kB that they should be.

The weird thing is that Agent showed them to be OK and fully present before I started.

The good news is that I have done the "rename a rar to a vob and try the vob in PowerDVD" thing and this transfer does look rather nice - even on a computer monitor!!

Dammit! I downloaded part034.rar, and it is incomplete indeed. But I have 29 of the 32 blocks. This is weird, I have posted several things in the past, and I never had to repost anything. Also Yenc, Binsearch.info, and my agent say it's 100% complete... I'll download it myself as soon as the post is finished, and create extra PAR2 files, and repost the broken rars.

Hmm... parts 5 and 12 have been re-upped, but that only gives me 2 blocks if I download 100MB, since I already have 207 out of 208 parts for each of those. What I really need are PAR2 files. The ones you posted are unusable for some reason. Post 4MB of those puppies (the first three you've made would do, giving me 14 parts, I think), and I'm done.

Nah, that's cool: I just sorta feel sorry that you've had to up another 100+ MB, when you could be upping something else, or relaxing and watching TV or something...

Arrrgh! New problem: the PAR2 files you've uploaded are being reported as "wrong set" from any of the PAR2 files:

Try just double-clicking one of the par2 sets and not just the base .par2... it may be the wrong...

EDIT:

I just re-ran the PAR set on my computer and they all came up working and correct set. I've found that sometimes QuikPar is still looking for the old ones even though a new set has been created.

I feel like an ass that this has been botched for you... sorry man.

OK, I've got it solved. Currently recovering. Excellent...

I was double-clicking on one of the actual PAR2 files with content, rather than the base -- but I think I was doing it directly in Agent (which usually works). I've gone out and come back in the meantime, so I'm not sure that's the only thing I did or not.

I guess it must have been, because now when I double-click on the PAR2 file with 23 blocks, it verifies and works fine. Thanks, greencapt!

PAR2 files are pretty much magic, but sometimes I feel like I gotta go back and write my OWLs again...

QuickPar tells me I still need 1378 (about 40%) blocks even after the original par2 files are taken into account..........

My premium Astraweb service does not improve anything either.

There sure has gone something wrong with the upload, probably due to my server nova.planet.nl, because all posts I have ever done were always 99% complete. I downloaded it myself, and I was only 216 blocks short, but could fix it with the 261 complete PAR2 blocks. It's very weird, even binsearch.info says it's 100% complete. I was planning on posting an extra 10% PAR2, but 1500 blocks, thats 50%!!! Let me know if more people are missing over 500 blocks, I may have to repost the whole damn thing.

Posting 10% (299 blocks) extra PAR2, and will start a complete repost after that. Using a friend of mine's payserver now.

I have a favor to ask, I may be blasted for asking that, is there someone who can post the (Jedi/Feta) 97' Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition...

I know it is available on demonoid.com but since I found the way to download it from newsgroup , I prefer the newsgroup way. Anyways, if it is possible, if not then, I will manage trough demonoid.
