Do people really download all these alternate edits and transfers of the original trilogy? You'd think there's not a big enough difference between all these versions to warrant a new download for each one.

So far all the NTSC versions have been from the NTSC laserdiscs, wait till you see an NTSC version created from the PAL laserdiscs...

I was told it was when I got the VHS tape but I've never seen either to be honest - it's been sitting in a box for about maybe 5-10 years now (along with the Transformers, Babylon 5 and a few others that I've traded for over the years) I only dug it up since someone asked for the MAXX a few threads or posts back - figured hey it's not Star Wars

So what was Edited??

When MTV released the Maxx on VHS they edited down the individual episodes to basically make a movie. My understanding is that, unlike 'Clone Wars', much of the material was trimmed to keep the running time down. There were 13 half-hour episodes which were edited down to 120 minutes! Quite a loss.

Sure do, hope on MYSPLEEN and see. We like to see other peoples take on the movies. I download every edit. Just another chance to watch Star Wars with my 2 daughters.

If I want to help seed the ADM Ep. II, do I just need to dump the contents of the DVD into a folder and point the torrent client to it when I load the torren file? Or is there something else I need to do first?

I find it easier to run the torrent file which generates a folder with all the files in it.

Stop the torrent download and copy all the files off the DVD into the exact same folder generated by the torrent file.

Then run the torrent file again.....

That should do it.

4 - 5 - 3 - 1 - 6 - 2

Ugh,

So i went to seed ADigitalMan's Episode II last night
and my computer wouldnt connect to the internet last night. But i did copy the disc to my hd, and figured id bring my laptop to work...booted it up and apparently only about 25% of the disc copied. There are already 10 seeders so i figure its not that big of a deal, and since i cant really do anything until i get home tonight, which wont be until about 10:30 tonight, at which point there will probably (if people stay on) be more than 10 seeders.

Can we get some seeders for "bh007 - Star Wars Heroes & Villains"?

Currently there is only one seeder and one peer, and I'm downloading at less than 1 KB/sec.

Just so you know, bh007 will be replaced once babyhum gets back up to that number, so I don't know if you'll still want to download it. Plus I believe it is bad form to request seeders on this forum, it should only be done over at MySpleen (at least that is what I've read here before).

Ok cool. I didn't know that this one had been nuked as well.

As far as requesting seeders goes, I've done it here before, but it was some time ago, so if the rules have changed, also cool. I'll go over to MySpleen next time.

Initially they were going to be part of the final release, but then it didn't really match with the new bh001 - bh004 as they had a lot more extras and even the cover design ended up different (if you compare its front with the other four you'll immediately notice the difference, nothing major though).

For anyone interested, Demonoid.com a great little torrent site that has cyclical registration is currently registering.
It's not from snobbery that they does this but hardware limitations. Anyway, it's a really nice site, get in while you can.
