If ANY of you other fans have any custom DVD cover art that you want to share with other STAR WARS fans PLEASE let me know and I will do my best to get them in the next torrent.

My collection is now at 808mb with about 490 DVD covers!! - I have also NOT downloaded all the covers from Cdcovers.cc BUT someone has submitted some of my covers as their own (YOU FRELLING Bastages!) - IF you have got all these covers already PLEASE let me know if you can get them to me on a CD or DVD.

My email addy is below - so let's get another collection started!

I have done my best to exclude duplicates but there are only so many covers I can look at in one sitting

Thanks for the "Wookie Groomer" Rikter, you the man. I also have have several blanks waiting for this and all other torrents which I will be giving away for FREE to several friends and shipping some to other people I know from the web in various locations, also for FREE.

A big word up to RIKTER, MYSPLEEN & of course our little slice of heaven ORIGINALTRILOGY.com.

Appreciate the seed, but you and the other guy leeching both have your ports closed so my client (had to restart) is now not able to connect to anybody

Okay, this is severely irritating. I shall plead my case. Right now, I'm back at school. The server here does its best to block p2p progs, but actually just makes them more frustrating. I can use BitTorrent... but right now I'm downloading at about 2kbps (on a well seeded torrent). The only reason I'm trying to finish this is because I was able to download the majority of it before I left home. I ordered a bunch of discs from Rikter with some money I got around the holidays, but I'm flat broke again now.

I'm just wondering if there's a kind soul here who would mind doing B&P trades with me for the new SW DVDs being posted on MySpleen, such as the splitscreen ANH and the forthcoming de-SE'd ROTJ. Or, if I have some stuff you don't that I got from Rik, we could just do a straight trade.

Okay, somebody help me. I've tried following the directions, but I just don't know how to set up my router and open up a port to MySpleen. I'm apparently uploading to someone, but I want to get rid of the http://www.myspleen.com/pic/smilies/thumbsdown.gif without dropping my whole firewall.

Considering how fast you got us the Wookie Grammer version, i think we can let you slide a few days on this one

Besides, hopefully i can finish up the isomix versions before you post this And covers are always a nice addition to a dvd torrent

p.s. if any of you are currently trying to download BOTF off myspleen, ill try to seed it (gotta move it from one computer to another to seed it) when i get home today (around 9:30ish) hopefully someone else will have seeded it by then, but ill still add my seed if they have

Well guys, I've done everything on Mallwalker's link also, and it's not happening. Worse yet, I just realized I'm not getting credit for my uploading this past month. WTF! That sucks.

Oh well.

What router are you using? and do you run any firewall software on your pc (3rd party or build in winxp)

Im assuming you've logged in from that ip address? have you tried doing a manual announce? other than that im not really sure how else to fix the not getting credit. (maybe ask on the myspleen forums or pm xavier)

I have a brand-new Linksys WT54G, and I'm not running a software firewall.

I've never tried manual announce. Not even sure what it is or does. The one thing that I think could be the problem is that I am using BitTornado, and the filename is too long to fit in the "Post Forwarding" space (it truncates the name.) If I change btdownloadgui.exe to btdownload.exe, the executable still works. Unfortunately, the BitTorrent file is looking for the original executable name, so this may only work for future downloads.

I dont have that model, but with my link sys in the config web page there is a advanced tab, and from there there should be a forwarding tab.

the forwarding tab should allow you to put a port range that you want to forward, then enter the ip address of you computer in the port to forward it to. my experiences show that you need to start the torrent up after you make these changes or it doesnt show up as having your ports.

(also, with my dlink, this is done via a firewall tab, that has a similar allow interface, if yours is like this i can go into more detail on that)

as far as the manual announce, it basically sends the updated upload/download information to the tracker (thats my understanding of it anyway)

Hey gang,

I had a family emergency and had to travel up north (luckily my mother-in-law was here because of the newborn) so I was offline. I'm back online and seeding.

I have a quick question, they're posting a LD-rip of the OT on alt.binaries.dvd (I just got ANH) and I have a screenshot of the menu. Can anyone ID what version it is? Muchos gracias.

I thought that it may be the LOOK version too, I used to have the trilogy in LOOK (bought from ebay way back) but the menus were very different. Maybe it is a variant?

I have that set of DVDs. I bought them on ebay some time ago for about $40.00. Of course, that was before I knew about the OT.com. Oh well. The dvd cover for the multi-pack case has a pic of Darth Vader surrounded by a silver frame. At the top of the case it says "Five Star Collection."

The bonus disk for this set comes with the Leonard Maltin interviews with George Lucas that were part of the SW Faces set. The quality of the DVDs is about the same as my VHS copies, which makes me wonder if it isn't just a widescreen VHS transfer to DVD.

3 Deleted Scenes from A New Hope (poor quality)

The Menu screens for The Empire Strikes Back is the same as the one you have for A New Hope except it has a pic of Darth Vader instead of Obi-Wan. For ROTJ the pic is of Luke. They were going for a Blue, Red, and Green theme for them menus I guess. A pic of the Emperor is used for a background on the bonus disk.

I would download the TR47, Dr. Gonzo, ISOMIX, etc. before I would download this set due to the difference in quality.
