Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Capcom Vs. SNK 2

I was just thinking of the two greatest crossover games of our time: Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, and Capcom Vs. SNK 2. In each, you can do 3-on-3 battles and do major hyper combos on the poor jerk who thinks he can beat you. In fact, I'm getting copies of the games for my PS2 even though I already have them, since they're so good.

Out of the two, I favor MVC2 over CVS2 because it has Marvel characters. My favorite characters in MVC2 are Iron Man, Hulk, and Wolverine. My favorite in CVS2 is Sagat (I only use Capcom character in that game. )

What's your favorite out of the two? And who's your favorite characters?

Marv v. Cap Deuce, hands down.

I'd set up bad-ass theme groups, just for the hell of it.

Iron Man/Mega Man/Dr. Doom... my "dudes in tinfoil 'jammie's" team.
For as much as some people claim to hate what Star Wars has become, they sure seem incapable of shutting up about it.

Sadly EA now has the rights for Marvel.
I was really hoping for a third Marvel.
Cable,Guile and Spider-Man my team for MVC2.

Capcom vs. SNK 2 is my pick of the litter. I have both on my Dreamcast, but CvS2 has Blanka, multiple power meters and less button mashing. It feels more like a true Street Fighter game than MvC2.

Activision has the rights for Marvel.
They and Raven Software are making a new Marvel game for the next-gen systems. It's like X-Men Legends, but will include the entire Marvel Universe. There will be over 140 characters in the game total.
