Transfer the holiday special to 35mm? How do you do that, wouldn't that cost a fortune?

My deadline is November 17th,2012.
Yeaaaah good luck with that.
So....you want to make an enhanced widescreen version of the Holiday Special, and put it on 35mm film?
And, apparently you want to use CGI for some reason.
And, you want us sell our Star Wars stuff so we can go to TX to watch it, for free, even though we can already get it (on DVD) for free.
All this, AND you want to do it in about 3 weeks, as Timdiggerm has commented about.
:D - I'll give you $1000** right now. This project is awesome!!!11!!1!

Only 2K? That's not even worth bothering with.

This is definitely the most bizarre project in the history of OT.com. I think the only person here who is qualified to help is Frink.
If you get KenKraly to make the opening speech before the showing, I'm there!

Archive a poor vhs copy to 35mm film.Surely you need 70mm film to capture all the detail from vhs!
Also be careful when converting to widescreen make sure you don't chop any heads off!
When finished with this amazing project please can I have a ticket to the premiere? Will it be a black tie deal?
Thanks for all your hard work.

I'm pretty sure that award goes to the "converting old fullscreen VHSes of the OT into 3D BluRays" project.
...which, BTW, I am STILL waiting for >:(

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

The most effective way of converting to widescreen is to change the aspect ratio.

Probably with a dot matrix printer.

Oh, how I miss their sweet music.
DMDs are only significant on pinball machines. God I love them.
Almost as much as I love this thread.
