How is the project going? looks pretty good
Any word on if the police can get your computer back, or are they still holding off on taking any action?
I don’t know if this is where to post this… Mods feel free to move.
UPDATE: Editing halt
so in June my Mac studio which I do all my work on randomly short-circuited even though it was only like 2 years old. Thankfully due to Apple’s kindness, I was able to recover my stuff and put it on a newly bought replacement. But Mac Killer struck again a mere two months later. My Mac was in my luggage bag when I traveled to Orlando aswell as when I left. once I arrived at JFK and picked my bag up to go back home, I realized something; the dent the Mac Studio box makes when in my bag wasn’t there anymore and neither was the lock. I opened it up, and lo and behold it was gone. I immediately contacted the airline, followed by airport security, and finally a report to the police. they located my computer using Find My, but it’ll take at least a month before they can act on it for some reason. so yeah sorry for the big delay to my edits. hopefully editing and work in general can continue in December.also thanks Samsonite for your crap locks!
BTW: I bought a new MacBook to use as my main machine temporarily. but by the looks of it, it might be more than temporary.

How is the project going? looks pretty good
Hello everyone,
I’ve been currently working on a remastered version of the 2019/2020 Blu-ray of episode 4.
Using the Adywan 2018 grade as a reference I’ve gone in and color-corrected the film shot by shot.
I’ve also fixed many of the issues including Detail loss, Static Grain, and displaced power windows.
for the few shots, I wasn’t able to replace, I’ve used the cleaned-up 4K77 Skywalker edition, in some shots that don’t look good on any source, I’ve upscaled / Regraned the 2011 Blu-ray for that one or two shots.
I have Despecialised about three shots in the whole film, including but not limited to The CGI Rocks in front of Artoo, Two shots of the Ronto in mos-eisly, Greedo’s death, and maybe “Dark Vader”.
I’ve made this edit so that future fan edits of episode 4 won’t look like hogwash.
thanks.Sources:

What is the status of this project at the moment? I am interested in using this as the master of my fanedits if I decide to continue making them.
