Since Universal won’t put this out in the US on DVD we have to rely on region 2 versions. Does anyone have the ability to capture this one when it airs? I know a few have preserved HD broadcasts before.

Their video clips page includes a trailer for Fright Night Part II - if they're showing a remastered widescreen version of this, it's a must for a HD2DVD preservation.
THERE IS ONE ABOUT TO BE RELEASED ON THE SCENE BY A MEMBER HERE.

The Mangler Bros. Psycho Dayv Armchaireviews Notes on Suicide
I think Dayv is meaning my PAL2NTSC conversion of the PAL Phantasm Sphere Set I am doing,I am making a custom DVD of the movie and extras to NTSC,just like I did with Howard The Duck UNCUT a while back.
I am trying to use as many of the menu's as I can to.
I would do an HD2DVD of this, but I have yet to see any HD files for this.
I can directly capture the original digital signal of channels/shows that aren't specifically encrypted to prevent capture (see my sig). But our Comcast doesn't carry Monsters. It might turn up on Universal HD, but I have corruption problems, with that channel, and they seem to only show things once. It's old, so it might hit Encore, but our Comcast only carries HD, from Encore, on OnDemand, which is a very, very iffy channel for capture. (I might need to call the tech out here).
I'll search Comcast's schedule, and the newsgroups, though.
If I'm not mistaken, Monsters HD has a fondness for cropping everything to 16:9, so it might not be that desirable, anyway.
Edit : Hmmm, thought I had the direct capture link in my sig. Fixed.
One day I found... 10 years had got behind me. Next day was worse.
Download shows from Cable DVR (Updated! Yes, it needs a rewrite, but it's worth slogging through, anyway).
