If you change the eyes, I do hope the Ewoks still blink. Like you did with Greedo, it’s a subtle detail that makes them more realistic.

I can’t tell if you’re actively trying to make Adywan go insane or not but either way this is funny.

but technically the answer to that is no because Qui-Gon completing his training on how to become full force ghost meant he was able to teach Obi-Wan how to do it right away

Oh man hes a cheat-codes deeler I forgot, yeah everyone ingore my last post then. ;P

Well people who hate young anakin ghost are going to hate this. In a new book they’re going to explain why he’s young as a force ghost.

The novel “Shadow of the Sith” seems to make the compromise that sometimes he looks young, sometimes he looks older.

Considering “Shadow of the Sith” is basically just “plug in the plot holes for The Rise of Skywalker” I feel like hardly anyone was excited for it anyway.

An unexplained detail is not a plot hole.

You might as well say the same about “The Clone Wars.” How else would we have known about the ultimate fate of Sifo-Dias, and why the clones did a complete 180 on their loyal Jedi generals so suddenly?

I made it about halfway through the book and got fatigued from relitigating the plot implications of TROS and getting a headache.

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

The Prequels relying on The Clone Wars for important plot details (and important character development) is also bad.

The Prequels are just as guilty of overreliance on supplementary material as the Sequels are.

If you really are that invested in Star Wars to begin with, then what’s stopping you from WANTING to learn more about it?

Edit: In hindsight, I worded my response here too harshly.

Those Certain Point of View books aren’t really canon, I think.

But I do read and watch supplemental material. But that doesn’t mean the original movie shouldn’t stand on it’s own.

Look, you don’t necessarily HAVE to look at outside ancillary material in order to understand what goes on inside a movie. You can simply do so if you want a deeper explanation than what the film provides, which is sufficient on its own.

Since you said ugh I have to ask what’s bad in them? Also what Disney canon novels and comics are considered bad? like for instance I hear aftermath is awful things like that is this true?

I haven’t looked through them myself, but the PoV book for ANH included stories about how the Dianoga in the trash compactor was really a highly intelligent Force-sensitive being that was “baptizing” Luke when he pulled him under the trash water. And also that TK-421 was Tarkin’s secret lover whom he shared his chambers with. Lots of silly stuff like that that would be fine as little “what-if” stories, but not as actual canon.

I don’t know much about the upcoming RotJ book, but apparently, two of the authors they’ve brought on to write stories for it are mainly known for writing risque Reylo fanfiction. Which just…makes me wonder what the hell happened to Lucasfilm.

Anyway, we should get back on topic.

It’s simple then pick the parts of the book that aren’t bad and ignore the bad that what I choose to do with things like that. like with the kanan books. now that they mess with canon because the bad batch screwed everything up.
