Not looped. Also, Ady, I have a question: Are you keeping Lapti Nek? Or using it as BG music like the cantina music? And plus, you should cantina-ize the critters in the palace. I know this edit will be the greatest Jedi edit ever, bar none.

Kathleen Kennedy, I know those Special Editions are “George’s vision”, but, please, won’t you release the OUT for us? It would be nice. 😢

It’s not looped, look at his hands.

If it were looped you wouldn’t call it a mistake, it would be intentional to fix a mistake or make a shot that didn’t exsist.

OK so not a loop, but its still weird right?

Author

I don’t think it’s weird. It shows Luke considering two options. Risk submitting to the dark side by attacking Palps or staying true to the light. He looks back and forth twice because he is mentally flipping from one choice to the other and back again.

Continuing with the battle of Endor, I’ve recently noticed that a lot of the mid-sized Rebel ships there are container transports, the same type that are seen escaping Hoth.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense to bring cargo ships to the front lines of a battle. Are there plans to replace those with more battle-ready craft, or should they stay as cannon fodder to show the Rebels’ desperate plight?

They told me they’d fixed it!

I think Ady’s keeping em to line up with Rogue One. Not sure, though.

That’s a good point. I had forgotten they were present at the battle over Scarif.

There’s an interesting breakdown of the uses of the transport ships in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzHK10-sRzA&t=303s

Basically, he comes to the conclusion that they were just thrown into battles to draw fire from the more important ships.

I’ve heard an interesting bit of lorecraft where the ships were used to bolster the shields of the capital ships with their own shields, which makes a bit more sense. Basically they could act as external shield generators.

It might also make sense that they contained payloads. The rebels could have loaded the cargo in the bottoms of the ships with explosives, which could be jettisoned and flung at star destroyers. I mean if I were an imperial captain I wouldn’t bother attacking transports in the middle of a battle. But Uh oh, they just launched explosives at my bridge, big mistake.

OK, this is a mistake:

So notice how the AT-AT head is facing 90 degrees from the body, a feet I’m pretty sure it cannot achieve. Its also odd considering that in the prior shot it was facing directly forward. Something also seems off with the perspective as the head is behind the near tree, even though the tree appears from the Arial shot to be some distance away.
I assume this came about because Lucas didn’t feel people could understand it was the AT-AT form a profile shot(?), but I really don’t know.

This is the kind of thing that gets tweaked even without a suggestion.

feat*.

Although its head probably also can not touch its feet.

With just 3 days left to go to submit your audition videos to snag a part in ROTJ:R, it seems interest is very slim. Just 2 videos submitted so far. 😦

I will extend the submission date by one week ( 2nd July) but that is as late as i can have it, with everything that needs to follow with the planning etc.

Oh, and please remember; this shoot is taking place in the Midlands, in the UK. So, if you have mentioned that you were interested in giving it a go, it would not be worth it if you live outside of the UK i’m afraid.

Probably logistics more than slim interest, I’d volunteer if I wasn’t 3,000 miles away.

What? I thought you stated you’d be able to fly me down there. I’ve taken vacation from job and told my wife to go to Paris and everything.

Do it Eddie!

Looks like you’ve gotten a few more responses on your Facebook page!

Have you considered contacting organizations like the 501st or the Rebel Legion? Obviously you have the costumes but people within those organizations might be interested.

Also, are you planning to contact either organization for the California shoot since that will require multiple full-body costumes? I know you guys probably don’t want to talk about it too much, just curious about the logistics/planning going into the shoots. Really interesting stuff!

Might be worth putting out a casting call looking for amateur actors in the area, rather than just fans.

i agree with this, especially because i think that because of the location, it’s out of hand for most fans.

Actually thought about suggesting the same. This might be worth considering based off the submissions you get this time around.

I wish I could do it, but even though I live in the UK, I can’t make a commitment that far in advance. Its a shame, but yeah, logistical nightmare for you and everyone else. May the force be with you.

Are you saying that the distance between Chicago and the UK would change if his attitude did?
