My heart goes out to you, adywan. I lost my father to cancer in 2004, and although the ache diminishes, the love and memories do not. I still have days where it feels like he just stepped out and should be back any moment. I know how much he meant to you, and no matter what you believe, it's true that he will always live on in the memories and stories your family will share for years and years to come.

Wow, great clip! The changes I noticed are the Executor's engines, CG Millenium Falcon, Yoda's lip movements, re-rotoscoped sabers and the fixed continuity of Yoda getting off Luke's back. Did I miss anything?

Call me thick but I never noticed until now how Chewie parrots Han's number call so presumably his last line in the sequence is "...four?" (in a WTF voice).
I love the very subtle movements of Bossk's face.
If this change was from a Special Edition under George Lucas' direction, he'd probably have looked straight into the lens, made some spasm-like facial gestures and ululated loudly.

Well it all looks amazing, of course, but of particular note are the Executor's engines and the fixed jump cut of Vader's helmet exploding. Seamless! =)

Only just heard about your father now. Very sorry to hear that. I know the first few weeks can be extremely stressful, but I'm sure your family will be strong. You seem like quite a tough bunch.
Just watched the clip. Excellent stuff! I especially liked the Falcon flying past the bridge. I made a comment at FB asking if there's any chance he'd be removing (or toning down?) the swooshing sound as Luke swings on the vine and flips over the log. :p

Ady, when you repositioned Yoda on the log, what footage did you use? I only just noticed it's even more consistent with the following close-up of him looking up. :)

Someone brought up a good point in the comments for the YouTube video, that the panel/screen bends when the officer presses it around 5:03. The Empire's ships should really be made of sturdier stuff! ;)

What about Bossk's arm? Around the 5:23 mark. It just seems to dangle there, in a really weird bent angle. Has it been discussed already?
Will/can that be fixed?

There isn't anything wrong with Bossk's arm in this scene. Nothing to fix there.
