Just wanted to add to the appreciation for the latest helmet fix!
It was one thing to see a nicely-done, static 'mock-up' of that idea, but it's incredible to know that it's actually been done in the moving footage now. Marvellous stuff.
As far as new 'skies and mountains' go, every shot previewed so far that has had new backgrounds added, have looked wonderful. The 'Transport taking off' shot is one whose background I definately hope is enhanced too. As far as it's colour, I reckon vaderios isn't too far off the mark with his version, considering the look of finished shots in the trailer. Just look at the 'Ion Cannon' screenshot on page one to see just how 'white' the Hoth scenes are thankfully going to look now!

uhm..hmm
Just a thought here, can it be that Vader has a shorter battle helmet? one that does not impede way of arm movement?
When it comes to the miniskirt / thermal wear, as a Cyborg it looks like he can feel pain ( when Luke swings at him with his saber on Bespin he says: Aarrh!!, or something ) and he does have fleshy parts...why would he not want them warm, limber and cozy..instead of frozen ?
but as always Adywan manages the impossible and thats mein herren is COOL !

Mmmm. I'd have been happy to accept that Vader has a shorter "battle" helmet and that the "kilt" was a one-off for similar reasons — we never really see him going into battle elsewhere, the closest is the opening of ANH. For his sabre battles in the three movies he doesn't really have the opportunity to go back to his quarters and change. :-p
That said, it's ridiculously awesome that Ady's managed to do that. I don't know how many times someone has suggested something, and we've agreed "that'd be cool but it's practically impossible to do", and then Ady comes along, says "it's already been fixed", and leaves us in his wake.

A battle helmet would be a good theory if Vader hadn't suddenly had a longer helmet again later on in the base.

Btw i did the shuttle mockup not 005 ;) 005 had the idea :)
Im not so sure about the fog in the dagobah shot. Maybe the trees should overlap it to have some values.

If that is the case, the underside of Needa's SD should be pretty dark, as opposed to brightly lit, which would suggest a light source underneath.

Love the new fix on Vader's helmet, that really must have taken ages. You'll have earned your rest by the end of this mate.

Not sure on the accuracy of the comparison on this last one. Looks like Ady fixed the scaling. The frame is the same of the asteroids nearest the Destroyer.

Ady: something you may want to keep in mind with this scene: the light source seems to be on the far right, going by the lighting and shadows on the Executor and its escort. If that is the case, the underside of Needa's SD should be pretty dark, as opposed to brightly lit, which would suggest a light source underneath.
Let me think about it....

Also going by the light/shadow ratio cast on the other two Destroyers it's more accurate too (unless there is some light source we can't see).

I notice that the second pic there, Luke vs. Vader in the cave, still features the crooked saber (in relation to the hilt). Is it possible to fix that, or is it staying as is?

It might be easier to tilt the hands (as in Ady's fix of Han's weak wrist in ANH:R) than to play with the blades any more (because of the ambient lighting).

Nothing fancy, I just have Wookieegroomer's splitscreen file, run it through Windows Media Player, pause it and Print Screen, and crop the images in Photoshop. I do it by hand, makes me feel more like a detective.
