I did have a feeling that the comment was a bit of a wind up which is why i replied in jest ( hence the wink at the end). But you could have made it a bit more obvious that this was you intention because there are hell of a lot of comments, especially over on the facebook page, that are serious and are very very similar in tone.

I only popped in because i was told that the forum software had been changed, so i wanted to check out if the ignore function had been restored along with a proper editor, but, although the layout is now much better, those functions are still missing (along with the ability to edit the thread title) so i will not be returning.

Hard to imagine people on Facebook put that kind of pressure on you in earnest. I guess it’s mostly annoying, you’re sort of the George RR Martin of the SW fan edit world. Next time someone on Facebook has a go at you for taking so long, remember what Neil Gaiman said…“George RR Martin is not your bitch”.

Honestly, of all the stuff to add (be it Ady if he wants or whatever new Special Edition they decide to make) Rogue One stuff would make the most sense. I really hope we don’t see too many new ships in that movie or it’ll be weirdly disconnected with the OT.

The only new ship we have seen on one side is a troop deployment ship and nowhere in the original trilogy do we see that side deploy troops from a ship. I could see it an hanger or something but it doesn’t make sense for it to appear in combat.
The only time troops are deployed is in ROTJ and that’s with an Imperial ship (the wrong kind but that’s a different fix).

Oh, of course. We definitely don’t need a new scene where Rebel troops are landed. If it were to happen, just having it stuck in a hanger or flying along with a fleet or something would suffice for me.

Just saying it seems like yesterday that this topic opened and I can’t believe how fast time flies. I am not complaining about how long it is taking and could really care less how long it takes actually. Sorry if I offended anyone.
