Hey Ady, thx for the teasers. But why do you put them on a commercial site like rapidshare? The speed is extremly slow for a free user and maybe not everyone has a premium account there. A quick torrent file would be so much faster and more convenient (but i guess - maybe - there are some people who dont have a bittorrent client yet?!).
Well a torrent file wouldn't be faster at all. For one my ISP throttles the hell out of torrents so you think rapidshare is slow, you want to see my crappy upload speed on torrents. It would take a week for someone to get a file this size (ok slightly over-egaggerated. lol). Plus if someone came to this site after a week or more and wanted to get the file it would be totally dependant on someone still seeding. Not really worth it for a clip. I haven't got a rapidshare account but i can still download at about 3-5 mbps, which is a lot faster than uploading a torrent.

the colouring is so much better and cleaner now!
in some shots where luke is trying to raise the x wing, he is stood facing the fog, so we see him against a grey foggy background.
how difficult would it be to have some more treelike background in the distance? i understand it is very foggy, but perhaps it may look more interesting if there was more depth. one thing i liked about SW:R was the additions that made you feel like you were watching the movie for the first time again. in some ways i wish i could reset my mind as if id never seen it just for that reaction all over again!
The one thing i have always loved about dagobah is that it always seemed mysterious. You never knew what was behind the fog. I think that adding in new background elements would totally take this feel away. The OT was great for letting your imagination run wild whereas the PT explained & showed us too much.

regarding the clip, I think you did a fantastic job ADY! However I don't remember yoda being that green in the OUT version of Empire. I seem to remember him being a paler green. Can you provide a shot from the OUT to compare with your work? It's probably just my imagination.
Yoda looked paler in the home video releases of the OT because the colouring of those are slightly off too, especially the GOUT. They have a brown / red tint to them. Skin tones have an orange tone to them. this causes green tones to be muted. Just have a look at behind the scenes video and you'll see the true colour of Yoda. Plus don't forget this isn't a restoration so the colouring won't be exact to what it would have looked like in the theatres
And to answer your earlier question then i really wish that the colour correction could be done without all the masks and layers but it just isn't possible. there is too much missing colour information and the blue tint has screwed around with the existing colour so much that trying to eliminate the tint causes more problems. so unfortunately al the layers & masks are necessary.
