ComingSoon.net caught up with DreamWorks Animations CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg on Tuesday and learned that George Lucas is looking to repurpose the six "Star Wars" episodes into 3D format.
Katzenberg told us that Lucas is very excited about it and that he's got the technical resources to pull it off. "He isn't going to put a product out, I think, that isn't anything other than first rate," Katzenberg said.
PT and SE OT badness...right in my face! I have no idea how people would go about editing them. Haha. Might be more about simply removing things rather than full effects editing and such, unless they have access to the same 3-D technology so their work won't look out of place with the rest.

You have the poster? Are you able to scan it at all? Not easy with a poster that size i know.
Im planning to clone out the logo (as i was starting to do when i messed up my picture), and probably use it on the back cover if not on the front.

Ripplin, dont know if as im viewing it on my PS3 but thef first 2 images aint showing up. Dead weird posting from anything other than my PC(just popped my cherry withthat one), Its crap without a keyboard! Edit, oh, it worked. Message flashed up about invalid UTRL when i posted that reply. The lastest firmware still aint right (take note SONY). Edit: im as dippy as a brush sometimes when i hear myself.
Would be intresting to mock up a personal picture frozen in carbonite with photoshop though. Well, maybe not THAT personal. I promised the wife id never put those pictures up on the net ;-)

The first two pics are from a blog, which will prompt you to open or save the image separately when you open it from somewhere else. They worked when I previewed my post. Oh well, they can be viewed, just not as easily as some pics.
As for the firmware thing, I'm still on 2.31 and have no plans to upgrade until this mess is over. At another forum, there was this big warning about 2.41, so I didn't bother upgrading. Actually, I've only been online with my PS3 once since I've owned it, to upgrade to 2.31. Haha. I might be on more if I had a router, but I'm in no hurry.
Problems? What problems? I thought this was supposed to sort things out after 2.40 bricked my last PS3. Is there anything on there about making the owner go crazy by any chance?

I was watching some of ADM's ESB edit and when it came to the John Ratzenberger scenes, I must admit I was second guessing myself as to whether it was him or not sometimes. B'oh... Someone was talking about it earlier, but there doesn't seem to be any concensus on the issue.
God(thats the real God this time not Ady), im gonna get pissed off that i brought that up(about any other chat outside Empire).
I didnt mean EVERY frikin post needs a connection with the film, as thats also counter productive to the cause.
As ive stated in the past though, the one flaw (to me only) is that Degobar, urm, Daygobar, urm, Dhay-go, urm.................when Luke crashes on that planet where Yoda lives, the pace of the film also takes a bit of a nose dive with him. I know its so very, very, very important to the story, but is there just a few pointless frames that could get trimmed just a little there, and i really hate to see films cut, JUST SO WE CAN GET FROM RUDDY DEYGO.......(yeah, ive been on holiday there, and yes, we didnt much care for it)?

I'll be changing ROTS to fit in with the RORJ conversation. i have a few ideas of how to do it , but thats a few years off yet. As for the eyebrows then i have to disagree there. i prefer them gone. After all he was badly burned and hair is one of the first things to be burned off. I hate it in movies when some one has been set on fire and their hair is still there. The funeral Scene in TPM annoys me. Qui-Gon is burning but his hair isn't touched. It just becomes totally unrealistic. Losing the eyebrows was one of the changes GL did that i actually agree with. But Hayden in ROTJ has to go.

yeh, i miss the cloud car fly by too. The problem is that, now i am working in 1080p, using any footage from the GOUT is now out of the question. I was going to add the car back in but it will really stick out . But i never liked the addition of the gas mine as it stands now. it just looks so fake to me. I'm going to be doing new FX footage for that shot.
Sluggo, that AT-AT picture i've never seen before. It definitely looks like it was originally filmed for ESB. Those pics have actually given me a few ideas for the Hoth Battle now too.
Well the colour correction is taking a lot longer to do thanks to the 1080p res. So no updates for a while.
