Ady...you sly devil you, that looks amazing. I seriously hope you are using that as a final and not just messing with me cause that is master work there my friend. GL is going to trip out that he didnt do this first.
Its funny how, while waiting for the ESB:R edit to be released, that we have picked this movie apart in ways that even the most hard core fans would be like..."what?"..and still you surprise us.
You definately have an eye for what not only looks great but is most relevant to a scene, thanks again for all your hard work and dedication. From a major fan of the OT Star Wars since the age of 5yrs, I thank you.
Isnt a bit colorful for a star wars shot? ;)
The last nebula i saw in star wars was in ROTS and it was dull.

I like the CG MF but i think the backdrop is one of ady's tricks XD
isnt it?

That would mean more work for these shots.....
J
He's been working on this (and the other) project for years, I don't think a few extra shots will make the difference anymore ;)

I lose my cool for one post, then I find out that Ady had indeed changed his mind and replaced the shot. It's incredible looking, but I feel bad for caps-locking.
It does look great, the coloring is very nice.
Very pretty but why am I getting a strange sensation of leg pulling and since reading this one of my Micks have gone missing (most peculiar)?
Shouldnt the interior must have some short of global illumination of the colofull cloud?
A tint? A subtle reflection? The lighting setup indeed belongs to the previous shot.
Pity because the new falcon is lighted correct with the classic type of light in star wars(and positioned correctly)
I was wondering what more of color will be added there? Will the ships have some color from the whole scene in the exterior space shots? Like Eve online type of coloring. This game is full of nebulas.
Subtle but effective. Good thing that the ships in OT are not so reflective ;)

If anyone thinks that shot ISNT a joke, you haven't followed Ady for very long. Tho to me, it looks kinda like they're checking out a double rainbow... :p

The image is awesome, though perhaps you should adjust the lightening; I think if you're that close to a forming star you can't have more lightening from the inside than from the outside.
I'm imagining something sunset-like; thoug it would be excesevely altering the spirit, isn't it?
C3PO does blend in nicely with the reddish nebula colours ;)

That nebula looks reeeeeeealy nice. Does this mean your near the end of finishing ESB-R? :D
If that's actually what Ady's putting in ESB:R then I'll eat Stan Laurel's hat.
I think he's just putting paid to all this endless debate.
No?
That's shot is asking for the bluescreen game, though.
We did the bluescreen game a while back with it. I added the Rag Tag Fleet from nuBSG.
I like the new Ady screen shot. The whole Galaxy-Star debate left out the "Rishi (sp?) Maze" revision done in PT, and as someone cleverly pointed out, the whole thing is to represent the metaphor: "needle in a haystack"; Han is gone, and they don't know where, and their haystack is HUGE, so the unsurmountable task is presented visually like that.
I'm happy they didn't shoot Luke unhooking his saber, it would have detracted from his cooler appearance, you see him much more as a growing Jedi than a "running-half-cocked" farmboy now; Leia could've looked a little sadder, but anyway, they are fine.
I was more intrigued by someone else's (sorry I forgot your name!) idea about back in cloud city have movement/action happening around the Slave I as Leia races against time to save Han, sort of like to up the stakes at, as he said, how close she came to be. What do you guys think?
ROTJ kind of popped that balloon with Han being taken within walking distance of their pre-agreed rendezvous point.

Compare this post by Monroville with Ady's screenshot and I believe certain things will come to light...
And 005, I found that bluescreen picture you mentioned whilst browsing my pictures last night. Good times. :) I forget who made it, though.
All I have to say is that I sincerely hope that isn't what Ady is doing to the final shot.
I think this is more in line with the teaser video he showed us of the new Wampa. ;)
Got ya :)
As if i would change something as iconic as the imagery of the end scenes
Nice glow tho ;)
