Yep - enough with Kurtz talk. Lucas gave us his vision and this is Adywan's and the same vision for most of us here. Patience! ;-)

I do have one thing that nags me (and i'll piss Adywan off no doubt) is Palpatine's voice from the trailer. The image is fantastic! Love it more than my favourite boxers. I am a f***in' huge Palpatine fan, but it still sounds closer to ROTS Palpy opposed to ROTJ Palpy despite the 6 month timeline gap. I'd even read the lines as ROTJ Palpatine to record for continuity. LOL!

I just re-read the first post regarding changes and the date on June 9th. Gutted I missed out on getting my name in the credits. (My fault for being an illiterate Brummie) LOL!

I see you fixed the lightsaber continuity error when it was dropped too :D (i think its reversed footage isnt it?) (see pic)

Good to see the additional vader's saber behind the smokes and an onscreen ignition of luke's saber :D (see pic)

When Luke flips behind vader luke's saber appears too short even in the previous frames it appears big. (see pic)

I like you kept color continuity in all the carbon sequence.( see red hue in the blue color)

There is a misrotoed saber blade originaly and yo your version.(see pic)

I really liked that you masked out luke from the overblown clash flash ;) (see pic)

Some akward movement from the original roto is still there like the animators couldnt rotospope the saber properly back them because of the smoke. It might need to smooth it?

In some parts the blue of luke's saber is over blown on vader's cape. Can you try to reduce them adding a darkening mask around vader's silhouette?

Yes, it was originally but not anymore

No, that isn't a mistake. You can see that Luke doesn't keep his hand perfectly straight as he flips so the sabre is seen at a different angle for a few frames.

Not all the shots in this video have been finished. There are one or maybe two that i haven't done any rotoscoping yet.

I have to stick to the original positioning of the rotoscoping or the blades become very thick so not much can be done. Replacing background for more than a frame or two is impossible because of all the movement of the smoke etc.

The blue on Vaders cape is the same as the original as i use the original foreground to mask out the newly rotoscoped lightsabers.

Moments like this

The saber goes up and down a bit awkward even there is "nothing wrong" with it.

Stylistical speaking even vader changes the pose/angle of the saber it would be nicer if you could smooth it out a bit. Meaning extend/reduce the blade in some frames so it doenst be so...awkard.

I think there are one or two more spots that sabers are going up and down for a frame or two.

Btw returning a bit back to the yoda clip you posted. When luke bites the food we listen that its hard to cut it. Like a dry bread. But when yoda bites it is like creme. Will you add a "strong bite" sound to yoda? If you know what i mean :)

Ady said it would "blasphemy" to cut out the cameo of mc quarrie.

He will fix/recreate the bad matte with props. Funny you mention that because with that matte i was introduced in OT.com :P
