Hey, does anyone know if Ady is doing another custom artwork DVD case to match the Star Wars Revisited one? That one was great and I'd like the two DVD case styles to match, if possible....

I agree with brash. Though a painting for ESB hasn't been discussed much, I can definitely see it happening at some point. Besides, what better movie to make a cover for? :)

I think because of all the colour correcting that adywan has done i think something little less blue is needed.
You don't think colour-correcting someone else's original artwork is just a step too far?
I'm pretty sure that no one puts a dark blue border around their "widescreen" painting. It's either a joke, or he really doesn't understand what Empire is supposed to look like and actually threw a blue filter over the entire painting to make it match the movie.

Maybe, but that's his creative decision as the artist of that piece. I'm just trying to make the point that second-guessing, I-know-best attitudes are inappropriate where original work is concerned (as opposed to repairing ill-advised alterations).
It's not destroying the original and besides every piece of photoshopped art displayed on these boards is doing something to an original piece of art beyond the artist's original intent (even if it's just showing something out of it's original context).

Wow that pic of Vader on Hoth strolling through the war zone is awesome.
I wonder if anything like that would be possible to assemble using existing footage and extras?
Either way, very impressive.
It might be doable, it wouldn't be a long shot and you'd either have to pull elements from shots that are already quite cool and important to the rhythm of certain sequences (like Vader stomping through the Rebel Base in his mini kilt) or film new actors in accurate costume (not many fan owned Vader costumes would be in the Hoth style).
I'm not sure why Vader would be stomping around so in the thick of battle when he wants to be at the base as soon as possible to capture Luke.
He doesn't seem to care about impressing the troops anymore (he has other ways of motivating them).
