the idea is to keep the concept of the cockpit being a little darker, which would match the darker windows from the exterior shots.  Some added lights and enhanced viewscreens, along with a darker cockpit to contrast with the brighter window image would look just as good.

 Looks darn near perfect to me.

I agree that more would be impressive, but given Adywan's previous comments here on all that, I'll just be glad if he decides to keep even that one in the AT-AT shot at all....

I really like the touch of the red light.  I don't know what it is but it adds life and more realism to the shot.

Also, up the page, the interior of the AT-AT looks amazing.  Personally, that is something that must be updated.

The storyline from the novel does not appear in the actual movie in which the Empire's attack is shown more dominant. If I'm not mistaken the crash is happening when Veers is aiming at the generators through his periscope when his vision is suddenly distracted by the attacking snowspeeder and its kamikaze course.

  Well, Ady did say the EU is irrelevant for the purposes of this edit, and as for the novels go... Uncle Owen is Obi-Wan's brother.

 Not to mention it takes away from the menace of the walker if they can't shoot something right in front of them, and reusing shots would be redundant.

6 to 12 (or 2 for every AT-AT: one to cover each side) ... the idea is to show an actual task force.  5 AT-ATs alone could get taken out easily by ground troops; having a good squad of AT-STs would be akin to blitzkrieg tactics used by the Nazis, as well as account for taking out any troops trying to get underneath. 

If the Empire is sending in a small group to rush the rebels, I can understand only 5 AT-ATs being there, with said group of fast moving vehicles to cover said AT-ATs ... even so, it would be nice to see a more realistic depiction of military behavior.

Ground troops taking out AT AT's?! Did we watch the same movie? :p

Sure, and it sounds great, but it would entail showing several AT-STs from various angles in several shots of the battle sequence....and I just don't know how Adywan can achieve that.

Perhaps other AT-ATs (and AT-STs) have been deployed to approach the Rebel Base from other directions too, unseen by us....

Well that possible technique goes without saying, but actually expecting Adywan to achieve that amount of matching movie-quality 3d into various shots throughout the battle is a bit unrealistic surely?

By the way vaderios, I always liked that old Yoda poster, and love what you've done with it!
