I liked Octorox's mock-up of a potentially greener-Dagobah. By colouring the planet seen in ESB green, as opposed to dropping in the planet seen in ROTS, it still retains that murkiness, that cloud-cover, which would result in Luke's X-Wing equipment going hay-wire when he enters the atmosphere. It would just have a more over-all greenish tint to it. Due to the samey-ness of the planets in ESB, I'd be for colouring Dagobah slightly greener than it currently is - maybe even changing the colour of the atmosphere-glow-line-around-the-planet from blue to green as well, just to subtly indicate the differences in environment between Dagobah and Hoth and Bespin.

Too me it has just always made sense for Dagobah to be white. It is an extremely boggy planet. Every scene we see on the planet, we have a massive amount of fog. With so much fog there would be no greenish tint. Planet isn't even that green, it is more brown like. I would have always expected a clear Dagobah to look more brown like than green like from space, perhaps more of a nasty brownish puke green than anything else. When I saw Dagobah on the ROTS deleted scene I could not help but think it was WAY too green.
But seriously, when flying over the ocean in an airplane on a cloudy day, how much of a "blue" tint do you see the clouds having due to the ocean down there under them someplace? You don't, you see a sheet of white. When they originally made it white, they had that in mind, and I feel they knew what they were doing. I have always imagined Dagobah having a pretty constant fog covering all the time, and everything we see in ESB seems to support this. Also, I that bluish tint as the atmosphere of the planet has been universal, every planet in the OT has that if I am not mistaken.
Out of all the complaints I have heard about ESB over the years, "All the dang planets look exactly alike!" has never been one of them.

tinting the clouds green just doesn't cut it for me!
if it were possible to have clouds swarm around the xwing I'd be a happy viewer but I just cant see that happening.

It might be confusing if they weren't constantly referring to what planets they were headed to, or if they had three different groups on all three planets at the same time and the planet was the establishing shot used. But everyone is on Hoth, Luke is on Dagobah while Han and Leia go to Bespin, and all of the establishing shots are of Yoda's Hut or Cloud City, so I think it's safe. I feel that Ady's Dagobah is a nice shade currently, and definately better than the blue every single thing in the 2004 DVD is.

About Vader's helmet...before it never bothered me so much, but now just looks silly, like he is wearing a cheap Vader costume.

ok i'll let you know a couple of things to look out for. Speeder panels re-coloured in the hangar, more AT-AT's, Rebel turrets now fire. The rest is up to you. lol :)

Ok here it is. there are 3 shots incomplete (the one with the rebels setting up in the trench that has the smoking background before the battle even begins & the last 2 shots need the lasers done). There's probably one shot that some may think "why have you changed that?" but i will explain if that crops up later. Plus it only got a temp audio track

I really suck at "spot the differences". Does Luke's snowspeeder not have any markings? I think I noticed that. But I didn't see anything you didn't mention that you would have to defend.
