I assume those are direct hotlink errors? Because they made me laugh pretty hard. :D

While I was watching the escape scene from Cloud City, I noticed something of no great importance, but anyway:

As you see, from R2's dome panels, the shot has been reversed (just like the too numerous times it happened in TPM...). Just wondered if it could be corrected in any way or not.

I figure it will be at least two years from now at the soonest ESB Revisited will be done.

He even wired up the cockpit interior with fibre optics and stuck a pilot in there!

That last comment is really full of innuendos when you read it with that picture above it.

You know, that wasn't supposed to be the picture I linked to... (shake's head)

but just TRY sticking THAT into EMPIRE (maybe Luke goes into Yoda's room without knocking and finds the REAL reason why Yoda's a hermit!)

Do you mean it's mostly with R2, or are there just a lot of flipped shots in general in TPM? I guess neither would surprise me.

Well R2's panels help see when shots are flipped, because of the panels. But there are quite some other, and more or less visible (Obi's prait in flipped shots), like in any other movie. I don't think there are a lot more than usual in TPM.

And lest not we forget about flipped Fett at Jabba's palace.  That's bugged me since 1983!  Since Lucasfilm filmed new Boba footage for ANH and ROTJ, why coldn't they fix those shots as well?  Oh, yeah, it was half-assed work and not thought out.  That's why we have Adywan in this world, to fix everything that should have been fixed in the first place!

O.T. or No T., baby!

What happened with Fett, in which shots? (off-topic yes :P)

Inside of Jabba's palace there are several scene of him that are reversed, you can tell really easily because his antena is on the wrong side of his helmet. These are shot of him casually standing against the wall in Jabba's palace, before the skiff fight, I think a few of them take place when Leia and Jabba are haggeling over a price for Chewie. It has been so long since I have seen ROTJ, I really don't remember all that well.

Be warned, if you are the type of person who is bothered by this sort of thing, forget what you have heard here today, once you notice these shots, they will likely bug you from now on everytime you watch the movie.

Hey Ripplin.....yes, the Clone Wars movie was the first 3 or 4 episodes of the series. However, since the series actually started on tv, it has been even better than the movie.....this past weeks episode, "Cloak of Darkness", Episode#9, was awesome! You should really check it out, it's much more like the OT, with tons of nods to the OT.

I don't know what's more disturbing...the fact that someone actually made that pic or that they thought of it in the first place.

I know you just did the color correction, but would it be possible to make the Star Destroyers a little more blue-gray (or at least take the brown out) to better match with the Executor?  I'm not saying make them THAT blue, but as it stands, they are pretty brownish.

Regardless, here is something to keep an eye on.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yws5hO89l3U&NR=1

(1) at 0:35, they show how the first shot of Leia seeing Han enter the command station is flipped (putting her on the other end of the room from Han) and then the other 2 shots are presented correctly, putting her back on the opposite end of the room.  is there any way you can "unflip" the first shot to keep the consistency?

(2) Also check out 4:23 and 4:50 for more Wampa action!

(3) You will also want to keep an eye out for some of the matte shots where the live action doesn't mesh well - such as 2:10 to 2:13 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isRZxiDiH58

(4) In regards to Imperial fleet shots, you could stand to add more ships to the shot at 0:35 and 0:44 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrrZrVav1i4&NR=1

(5) You may want to have the snowspeeders lift up a little as well as move forward so they don't look to much like they are on tracks from 1:42 to 1:50.  I guess another idea would be to animate the pilots inside the more distant snowspeeders, maybe do something with the men inside the blown-up snowspeeders (like Rev's when the cockpit gets blown off and we can see the full body of the pilot - maybe put in some arms shielding the face or have the body get sucked out of the cockpit?)

(6) And I'm guessing you will add a red tint to 2:52 to 2:56 (the AT-AT control room with Gen Veers)?

The flipping was done for a reason, why flip it back?

EDIT: the flipping doesn't put Leia on opposite ends of the room, Han is the one that moves from one end to the other, so obviously if Leia's in the middle, she should be "flipped".

The problem is that the first shot puts Leia on the left side of the room (she is by a row of consoles against a wall, so she can't be in the center of the room; she's either on the left wall or the right wall).  When we see her next, she is on the right side of the room.  Han comes in on the right side of the screen, moves into the center of the room towards the left side where Reiken is.   We see the 2nd shot of Leia AT THE SAME CONSOLE but on the right side of the room instead of the left side (which Han is at now, which should place Leia directly behind him according to the first flipped shot).  Han then turns to leave, looks to the right side of the room and then talks to Leia.  Leia can't be on both ends of the same room.  THAT is why the shot is a problem.

Or she's at the same wall, but the camera's on the other end...

I have to say this shot never really bothered me, I had a look at the AVCHD, so the flip wouldn't confuse me, and it's quite obvious to me that in the first shot we're looking at Leia from where Han is (at the door). We then move to the other end of the room (passing Leia) to the general, we turn around, and now we're looking at Leia from the other end of the room.

Thus, Leia can't be at 2 ends of the same room at the same time.

Have we proven ourselves to be Star Wars fans yet?  And can someone bring up the snowflake again?

I know it's a ways off, but when Luke pulls off Vader's mask in JEDI, here is a possible take on what to do with the reveal:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6JloWnQRp0&NR=1

at 5:08: "I imagined that beneath the mask Vader was hideous; his mouth was cut away, and he had one eye hanging low..."

Maybe instead of seeing Ani's whole face, you could just do a close-up on the eyes with Luke giving a disgusted, saddened look (?)

Monroville, you have the plan of the command centre totally wrong. Here is the correct plan. As you can see that the flip shot(which is also reversed as you can see when leia turns her head. it looks unnatural) was done for a reason.

So the only fix needed for that shot is to swap the 2 guys she is standing by so it doesn't look like a flip shot

As for the stardestroyers i won't be changing their colour to match the Executor. The stardestroyers have never had a blue tint to them. If you look at the OUT you'll see that the stardestroyers colouring is now correct.

And i have mentioned before that i won't be adding any form of red tint to Veers AT-AT cockpit. it is red in 1 shot only. All other shots the red tint does not exist. So I'll be removing the red cockpit from that single shot.
