People tease a lot here, but few are actually malicious. It's usually meant in good fun, and you should take it as such. i know esb:r is going to be great i just want both clone wars series to fit with the prequel edits when they come out or put back some of edited stuff back into the edits to make it fit like the chosen one stuff and maybe the midiclorians c3po being bulit by anakin when they come out. because i like the clone wars both series. those were the only parts of the prequels that didn't really bother me.

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure that those things are not going to be put in. If you want, you can make your own edit, but I think the majority of us here would prefer that stuff not to ever be mentioned.

I don't think we will be seeing the PT:R for a long time to come and I'd imagine Ady wants to keep some of his ideas secret.
But we know that Threepio isn't going to be assembled by Anakin and Anakin isn't going to have bad gas. So come the day you might have to put those back yourself.
But in the future Star Wars might edit it's fans.
The unofficial revisited saga thread is a good place to speculate on this sort of thing.

You'd be better off sticking to the official version TBH. C-3P0 is going to be in all 3, but fully golden as the Amidala/ padme's protocol droid, so there would be no going back to having Anakin building him (thank god);. No midichlorians at all; in fact there are going to be so many changes, there is no way it would fit into the clone wars series. But, you say you want them to fit in with both clone wars series? How? Those series don't even fit in with each other

but the clone wars especially cgi series had a lot character devolpment for anakin and introduced tarkin in to the prequel story's and other great characters to not have someone edit them to make them fit by ether editing the clone wars shows or not changing somethings in the prequels edit really sucks. especially since a lot of what he's going to change sounds like it might make the prequels good films and to ignore the clone wars shows is just kinda cruel.

But if i were to have to edit so that the films still fit in with a cartoon series, then they would just be the same films as they are now. So why bother?
These edits are meant to be watched as 6 films only. They won't fit in with the clone wars cartoon; they won't fit in with the EU; and they may not even fit in with the new set of sequel films either. When it comes to editing the prequels, the only thing that matters is the OT. Events and characters are going to be altered. New characters that weren't in the prequels may be introduced. The Clones won't be all clones of Jango Fett, if at all. So, just for that one fact alone, the Clone Wars HAVE to be ignored and thrown out the window.

adywan is there a way to edit the cartoons to fit at all with you edit if not the original series at least the cgi one? you see i'm a big fan of the clone wars.
but i hate a lot of what's in the prequels continuity errors bad lines bad pacing jar jar the list goes on.
so is there an edit that fixes the prequels but still works with clone wars or can someone edit the clone wars to fit with your edit?

Here's how you edit the cartoons to fit into Revisited: I've already done the edit, you'll find the link here.*
*link works, it just goes to nothing because the cartoons can't fit into Revisited continuity so I made an edit that is nothing.

At the moment PT:R doesn't exist so you made an edit which was nothing to fit the continuity of nothing, with something... and people say I'm odd :-D

Almost any PT edit will rattle its continuity with EU material. A radical edit like Adywan's all the moreso.
For my own prequel edits, I need to occasionally remember slight differences when I read novels. In Luceno's "Dark Lord," Bail Organa's wife takes care of Leia, since Padme had died in childbirth. Because my edit of Ep3 has her survive to raise Padme on Alderaan, that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the book. It doesn't align perfectly with my edit, but I have no problem acknowledging this as I read and enjoy it. (Just hope future episodic films don't directly reference Padme's death on the operating table.)

Or do what you're doing and enjoy pieces of art outside of the influences of fan-created works that are in no way official.

Other than purchase and printing DVD labels, I was finally able to make a perfect DVD copy of "Star Wars Revisited" with the DVD-9 version. I look forward to doing the same with "Empire Revisited."
