Anyone else here just as, if not more, excited for the saga trailer as they are for the actual edit? Or is that just me?

Such a modest request :)
Btw, i watched Empire few weeks ago and noticed one thing. Not sure if this has been discussed already or not. Anyway here it is...a second carbon freezing chamber matte in the background. I dont think this whole area would fit into the size of that small sphere inside the fin(wing) construction.
What do you think, guys?
And I would also like to say hello to a fellow Czech, hey Harmy. What a surprise :)

Keen as I am for both I'm more keen on seeing a completed Revisited installment than essentially test footage for edits that are Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the line.
Ady's early trailers often feature items that look totally different in the final version but more importantly Ady has been working on this project for so long now how can I want to see a trailer more than ESB:R ?
It's appropriate that Ady who after finishing ANH:R said something along the lines of, "I'm never coming back to this film again" will Re-Revisit it after ROTJ:R.
Life should imitate art.
Adywan, you don't have to make a wampa preview clip.I just said,"if you can?",that's all.
One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

I just love the potential for improvement we have with the prequels as there's so much more scope for major story changes. I'm sure you can understand, being the person who started the Radical Redux thread :-)
But at the risk of going off topic I'll shut up. It's just all very exciting!
Yeah, shut up, will ya? I'm trying to remain as unexcited as possible so the months go by faster!

Heck, I don't even know. ;-)
I do ;)
Now you're just taunting us :-p
In a way yes......but here's how I see it. Getting THIS excited over something, and so looking forward to it is one of the best parts of life. Its truly a beautiful thing. Its Christmas, or a get together with family, or a surprise party......all of those things that we may or may not grow out of as we get a little older. So to be a part of something that brings that kind of fun and excitement back to something that had lost some of its "shine" its really quite an awesome feeling.....and I'm definitely guilty of trying to encourage and keep it going. Anticipation is often the best part of something, and I for one am enjoying it imensely.
But also, I think anticipation can lose its shine as well.
It's important to keep the anticipation high, and a good way of doing that is showing tantilizing screenshots and such. The lack in updates and sneak-peaks lately has left me un-excited as such.
I don't care about wampas or anything, but I'd love to see another savory screenshot or two from the edit.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Here's hoping it lives up to the build up. If it doesn't, I'm holding you responsible ;-)

In my opinion we've had our fair share of previews and whatnot. The fact that you are familiar with Ady's work from his first edit, and knowing his skills have improved since, should practically guarantee non-disappointment.
Over-saturation is never a good thing. Besides, if/when previews will be shared after a longer period of time, you'll appreciate them even more so ;)
I would like one more trailer for Empire though.
I like consistency.
A teaser and two trailers for ANH:R should be accompanied by a teaser and two trailers for ESB:R.
“Anakin had those qualities so rarely seen, exuding an unmistakable confidence and yet still able to touch one’s heart in simply knowing how he was so flawed… wounded.”
Haven't there been 2 trailers? I think there have....
Actually, there are 2.5 trailers available for ESB:R. The teaser thats on the ANH:R dvd, the first release trailer. Then Ady released the first trailer again with some new footage.

I didn't mean constant flow of update. I mean a regular flow of updates. Even one or two screenshots a month since he started working would be more than enough.
Oversaturation isn't a good thing at all. But going so long without any updates is a little tiring.
Even if I know it will be good work, I can't say I'm currently "pumped" or anything.
Ady has already shown too much already. I think the trailers alone do the best job of promoting the edit, and Screenies are pushing it.
IMO, I think any clips should only be viewed by the ones that Ady has on his revisited team. Muddyknees, Doubleofive, RougeLeader and a few of others. I wish I knew their names. Every time a clip is released, it is picked to death, for better or worse. I really think the clips should be kept private for the most part.
Heh, it would also keep lucasfilm from stealing ideas before the edit is even finished. Anyone remember when Ady posted the clip and screenie of the Ion cannon by the Rebel entrance, then soon after, Lucas film posted a screenie of almost the same exact concept for a video game they produced if I'm not mistaken. Man that one had me steaming.

it is sort of fair game for film company to steal back from a fanedit really.
I think that was the new Star Tours Auggie.
LOL, for some reason I was thinking it was a video game.

That's true, but I'd still prefer not to give them a chance to do it :-p
I can just imagine them poring over this forum rather than coming up with ideas themselves. Guess it's the ultimate compliment to Ady's creativity, but annoying all the same. I'd rather the edit be finished, and then when they steal ideas again, it'll be crystal clear to everyone who did it first :-)
The only problem is they're not going to care enough to steal from Ady. The Blu Ray release was enough proof of that.
