I'm not sure if this particular piece of dialogue was ever recorded but in the Marvel comic adaptation of TESB Vader counters Luke's line of "You'll find I'm full of surprises" with "And I too".

I love this as it serves a duel purpose, firstly Vader counters Luke's moves with very little effort, so it serves as a warning to Luke, in Han's words to "Don't get cocky".

It also foreshadows the big revelation to come.

If it was never recorded perhaps it's possible to create the line by editing the line together from other sentences that Vader has said.

I really do like that suggestion there Bingowings. It also confirms, on a third level, Ben's warning about being seduced by the dark side when leaving dagobah, as if to warning to Luke about being "power hungry" inside, like his father was (unknown to Luke at that time). May also add to the line "join us, and we can rule galaxy, as father and son", as Vader can teach Luke more than what any Jedi can, as an ironic nod towards Anakins demise in episode 3 (incidently, with George spouting on about revolving story lines, and baby Anakins clorine count being off the charts, i was almost convinced Palps was Annies prodical papa somewhere in the prequels, just to give us that same shock value as the reveal in empire-but NO!).

I remember Jambe pasting together samples by James Earl Jones together from his other movies to make Vader say what he wanted him to say, for a project if im not mistaken.

Adywan can anything be done with Lukes arm after he looses his hand like in the scene when he is hanging from the weather vein at Cloud City. The whole hand in the sleave thing.

yeh, but you need to listen to that scene again. Listen to how Luke says the line. There is no possible way an extra line could be added. It just wouldn't sound right and there is no space for it.

There are possibly (and I bow to your expert judgement on these matters) two ways it could work.

First leave the footage as stands and insert the line as Vader lands from his long jump down the stairs (just before "Your destiny lies with me...")

Not only is Vader "full of surprises" he's just given Luke an active demonstration by knocking his weapon away in a casual manner and charging at him in a way we hadn't seen him do before (the sight of that dark heavy missile aiming himself at me would certainly give me pause for thought alone).

The other option I'm not too keen on as it involves cutting footage (and I've loved this film since I was 10 years old) but we have already seen Luke's sabre take a tumble somewhere so if you removed the shot of it landing on the floor (but we hear it land by sampling the sound and adding echo for distance) the focus remains on the two of them and the line can be placed earlier. After Luke has got back to his feet and his eyes scan the area the shot of the sabre on the floor could be reinstated (minus the actual landing).

But as always you are the boss.

The pics are uploaded and ready; ImperialFighter is currently trying to find time to write out his descriptions around them and post them, hopefully tomorrow sometime.

Darth Solo -  This is another fine mess I've gotten myself into....  ;)

Okay, just to update -  doubleofive's fine work is indeed recently done.  However, we did a 'test' with a PM, and found that the whole sequence of 63 shots would not 'post' all in one go....  So, since I have a lot of comments to write up in-between some of these shots, and I don't want it to 'cut off' at some unknown point, I'm having to prepare it seperately into the 5 different 'posts' that we worked out would look best, ready for consecutive sending, one after the other, once they are ready.  I don't want to rush this at the last hurdle after all of doubleofive's great efforts, and am currently trying to find the time needed to properly finish all my points in-between some of the scenes involved.  Unfortunately, I can't guarantee just how soon that will be, but it will be soon.  And I'm very pleased with how doubleofive's 'mock-ups' have come out.  Oh, and I'm not nervous....no, not me....er....no....not one bit.... 

For once, im lost for words aswell.....

Just trying to bring a little bit of light hearted relief (in laughter), in between the constant demands. Perhaps im maybe looking at it the wrong way?

Im getting uneasy about the "MR." Darth Solo reference there Josh, as I had no idea my life is in jeopardy as a result (I can see Mel Gibson on a horse, with a spikey ball and chain standing over my bed every time i retire from now on). 

Im missing StinkyDinkins on the the forums though.

Imperial Fighter - like i say to Ady, dont get pressured. Do what you need to do, till your happy with your work, otherwise you wont do your work full justice. It'll be ready just as soon as its done, not beforehand.

In the meantime, i'll provide the light relief...........(probably should push on with the work then Imerial Fighter and Adywan, otherwise there wont be anyone here to listen to your ideas once im done :D ).

As a side note, i do get loads of things wrong, yet im proud enough to adimit it. I was wrong to challenge you Adywan over a 1080 release, as i was just trying to help you justify your reasoning for the hard work you have yet to come.

Maybe works on three levels also, even if you cant get beyond the second level, though i bet you can (what the hell am i going on about Mr. Solo?).
