Thanks, I had no trouble with pgcedit. When I tried using IMGBURN, it errored saying:
Finalize Disc Failed!
Reason: Cannot Write Medium - Incompatable Format.
Huh...I'm using the same medium I used burning to nero. Any help here would be hot.
So....would not selecting the option for the seamless layer break help?
The seamless layer break option shouldn't make a difference while burning anyway. i know that using that option can cause problems in some players though which is why i didn't use that option when creating the original ISO.
i use to have the same problem you mentioned when finalising with an old pioneer drive i had, but only when using +R media. What is the model number & make of your DVD-RW drive? And what DVD media are you using (some lesser quality media can cause the freezing issue you were originally having in some players on the layer break)
It may be your burner having problems with DL media. You may need a firmware upgrade for your drive. Also make sure you burn at the slowest speed (usually 2.4x). You could retry burning your new ISO with nero to see if the freezing problem is still there.

Hi,
I could really use some help here. I've spent the last two days (almost the entire day and night) trying to create a dvd of Star Wars Revisted to no avail. I've downloaded the 7 GB DVD-9 NTSC file, the 4.5 DVD-5 file, and tried a myriad of programs to burn these to a DVD-R or DVD+RDL with error messages every time I try to play it. Yet, I know the content of these downloads is fine because they play flawlessly with my VLC media player. The problem is, I can't play it anywhere but my computer. I've browsed hundreds of pages on here, and to be honest, I don't know enough about computers to do any of the "fixes" or "workaround" that people suggest. Would anyone be either kind enough to write a very simple "how to guide", since spliting files, etc. is way too complicated for me, or could anyone make me a disc that would be playable in my home dvd player. I've continued to share or "seed", the files that I have for others to download, and I would really be greatful if someone could help me out with this. I know we are not suppose to pay for anyt ype of help here via the forum rules, but I'm just a simple guy who loves Star Wars and would love to be able to watch Star Wars Revisted on my home theater system.
Thanks,
Dan
Again what make of media are you using? what sort of error messages are you getting when trying to play the discs?
You shouldn't have any problems burning & playing at least the DVD-5 version. It could be an issue with your player or most likely the media you are using. What are the make of discs you are using? Try using Imgburn to burn the DVD-5 version
