How come? Didn't you remove it for a good reason?

He said in his next sentence "things have changed with what i planned with ESB:R when doing ANH:R and the spinning starfield needs to return"...and that's probably all he wants to say about it for now. ;)
Hey whow whow...whow whow,whow....whow...whow. A version 2? But it was so perfect. When you do it, don't go overboard if you know what I'm saying. The only thing I would do is fix the droid needle, a more subtle look is all.
I'm late to the party, I know lol.
The person your searching for simply does not exist
It's a long time until 2013, fellas. Let's not get nuts here.
2013? Where'd that come from?
With all that Adywan has signed up for, 2013 is a conservative guess.
I figured, but some tend to take dates as set in stone, so be careful. Haha. ;)
adywan said:Maybe next year, after ESB:R is finished, i may do a V2 of ANH:R with a few very minor changes with a commentary track.
This sounds like Adywan might choose to do something extra with it in 2010 , although that still leaves heaps of time for any thoughts from everyone when it comes around.
But it was also cool to see the words 'after ESB:R is finished'. His work on the next chapter ('Empire') is getting ever closer!
Well, even while funds are dry for the model work he's doing, work appears to continue apace on the digital side of things. He posted a screenshot of the actual editing workspace a while ago and said it was about 50% complete then. I forget whether he was including the model shots in that figure, and I'm not sure how many more additions he's planned by then, but he still has nearly 17 months to meet a 2010 release date, or over nine months to meet the 30th anniversary. If I had money to bet, I'd bet on the latter — the only reason this project seems to drag out is that we're eagerly anticipating its awesomeness.
No pressure, Ady. We love you, and we wouldn't want a release date any sooner than "when it's done".

One would argue that Palpatine gave the order to have all of the Trade Federation droids shut down. Then again, he also gave the famous "Order 66" to the clone army to kill all the Jedi, and in the book "Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader" it was revealed that not every clone trooper followed that order.
That being said, I look forward to your fan fic about that battle droid head in Adywan's fan edit.
Fan fic should be fun, though true be told I never liked that battledroid in there. I think a pit droid would have been more appropriate, ah well.
Fan fic would be fun, unless Ady approves of it. That would make it EU. Then we would become the very thing we're trying to fight... ;-)
I'll work on it some more, but I would need to know a couple things about the PTR (will battle droids talk? etc.)

Those screenshots on page one are still messed up in a strange way unfortunately. I'm sure they'll be sorted out eventually though.
Looks fine to me. I'm using firefox and vista.
Fine in Firefox on OS X too, but screwy in Safari. Can we get confirmation if IE renders it OK or not and whether it's a Safari problem (given the number who've reported it, I expect it's not)?
I'm using chrome, it was messed up the other night when someone brought it up but it looks fine now. Maybe you guys should try clearing your cache?
Fine on IE tab.
Hmm, speaking of which, the blank space to the right that always bothers me in Firefox is nowhere to be found in IE.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
Nope, cleared cache again, the image is still failsome.
Wow. I just tested it in internet explorer and it looks quite funky. This is why I use firefox.
well yesterday in firefox it was totally screwed up but its fine today. Also just checked it in IE (which i never use so the page isn't in the cache) and its fine also
Looks fine to me (Internet Explorer).
I've been out of the loop for a while. Could some one please explaine what are the differences between Adywan's regular "Revisted" edition and his "Purist" edition?
Thanks in advanced.
The Purist edition was released as a barebones DVD5: it restored the editing in Ben's hut and the pacing of the original TIE Fighter reveal, and removed the music from the lightsabre duel. I don't remember if it also removed the music at the Imperial conference table and extended edit of the Death Star reveal.
Looks buggy (firefox)
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Looks fine to me now. (Firefox) Hit and miss, I guess.
It looks better now. I guess it just looks like shit on my laptop LOL.
