I once theorized that the SW Sequel Trilogy was already filmed in the mid 1980's and Lucas & company were keeping it on the DL, waiting for the right time to release it. Then ROTS was released, year upon year passed by, and I realized that my theory was utterly without foundation.

It's pretty awesome, if you're into conspiracy theories. The best one so far for me has been the Hollow Earth theory.
I also recommend the 60/70 Greatest Conspiracy Theories of All Time. (http://www.amazon.com/60-Greatest-Conspiracies-All-Time/dp/0760708827/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267639970&sr=8-1) It's a pretty entertaining book.
But the real reason I wanted to start this thread is this: Frink necromanced the YAGE thread which included obi-guy and Rob talking about the moon landing. And I have to say: I have a doubt. I won't insist that it didn't happen... but I have to say I'm not sure that it happened either. I'm waiting for one side to convince me, and so far... I have a doubt.
Seeing an Albanian newspaper clipping from the late 1970 or so- of an Albanian astronaut (cosmonaut?) planting an Albanian flag on the Albanian moon... well... they pulled off moongate there and people didn't realize until the gov't totally crumbled to pieces.
I'm just saying...

I won't say that I think the moon landing was faked, but I'm not saying I don't think it might not have been. ;-)
It's super convenient that JFK says, without having a space program at all "we're going to put a man on the moon by the end of this decade" and 6 months before the end of the decade we have one. And only something like 12 people have been there, all Americans...
I honestly don't believe any of this, I just like to point out these things.

This test would have been impossible on Earth.
Moon landing was real.
In fact, the mythbusters episode about this demonstrates some of these explanations quite well.
I've never seen a conspiracy theory about the moon landing that can't be debunked with a little research and science.
Now, who shot JFK? :)

I think that in this era of environmental sensitivity, "necroposting" should be more accurately described as "100% post-poster recycled thread". xhonzi led the way with his "Formerly Freakonomics/Superfreakonomics" thread; let's all strive to be so contientious.
