Popcorn cooked in coconut oil? Explain. What would this do?

Also, as for visiting his house and slapping him, I just don't think that would make him more amenable to helping us out. Just my opinion, of course.

Coconut oil is the oil used for popping corn in many moviehouses and contains the highest amount of saturated fat of all plant-based oils. Simply put, Mr. Ebert would likely have a coronary if force-fed cocnut oil-popped corn.

Oh, and here I thought that coconut oil was not used and therefore using it would make the popcorn have some nasty reaction. Hmm, so much for that idea.
