Enders one was scientifically inaccurate and this one seems to have as many correct answers as an IQ Test.

Bitches have mouths.
But some of them do get paid for working less than a whole day.

So here's another one.
It's got no mouth,
but it talks.
It's got no feet,
but it sure does travel.

That's good twist, but it's not the answer I have.

Yeah but what if it's an instrumental recording?
Similarly it can't be a parrot because parrots have mouths.
You're getting colder and colder
It's talk right not torque?
It's talk. But not talk talk, cause then it'be such a shame...

But fish breath.
Some are warm and they never drink.

I feel compelled to defend the riddle's integrity!
If breathing is the inhalation of air, fish don't "breathe", unless my middle school knowledge of fish is floundering.
And since fish are cold-blooded, shouldn't their body temperature be the same as death (ie temperature of surroundings)?
And if drinking is the ingestion of water, why not call it drinking? Unless you have other beverages in mind, in which case I would probably agree.
The blue elephant in the room.
Is it a rumour?
Is it Chuck Testa?

Yes it is floundering fish breath as do plants.
Decomposing bodies often give off heat and tropical fish need to be kept in warm water or they die.
Fish get their moisture through their skin which filters out impurities like salt, they never drink.

Who gets paid without working a single day?
A night watchman?
Correct! (Or simply night worker)
Seems mine wasn't nearly as difficult as yours.
I assume Bingowings was deliberately deflating the riddle for his private enjoyment, as he has a demonstrated history of sadistic derailment ;) However, as these sorts of riddles are clearly not always literal or precise, if he's truly getting hung up on anything, he would have a hard time enjoying the intended nature of this thread. It's often very figurative. And if he's got an issue with the fish one, he should take it up with Tolkein ;)
Yes, and many of the answers given to my second riddle really do fit, but only one will I accept, as it's the one I was given.
No takers for the first riddle? I'll post it again.
I have a flock of red sheep.
When they cry, they all weep.
Bingo may be an ichthyologist, but I would think he would be good at riddles, given his posts in Politics.
The blue elephant in the room.
Leo, for the life of me, I can't even think of a slightly reasonable answer to your red sheep one. And the other is a stumper too, since it seems all the best answers were already given, yet wrong. I'll keep pondering.
For your flock of sheep one, the best answer I can come up with is a bouquet of wilting red roses, and quite frankly, that's a terrible answer :(
Empires are built at my mercy
And in my rage they flee in a hurry
I am consumed, yet I can devour
I bring thunder when you feel my power
I am Heaven's vein to whom men pray
Yet I can bring you to the gates of Hell where Cerberus stays
