I was browsing Facebook and saw this. It’s a 4-hour cut putting together RotS and the end of The Cone Wars animated series. I missed the first presentation, but there is an encore showing this Saturday, July 4th on Twitch. The description says a link will be posted the day of.

A lot of people have been making mashups like this, where ROTS and the Clone Wars finale are combined into one. This isn’t exactly a new concept.

I know it isn’t a new concept. I’ve seen threads about it here and commented on them. Just thought I would post that someone else has created one and they are putting it up on Twitch in case anyone wanted to check out their take on it.

Be sure to be there. 30 minutes before the presentation, we will play a medley of Star Wars orchestrations, followed by the Star Wars trailers for this supercut, and lastly, a new announcement with a special trailer for all of our attendees. All leading up to an encore presentation of the Revenge of the Sith 4-Hour Supercut, which be live-streamed on Twitch July 4th at 3pm EST.

That sounds cool and another great idea given the situation around the world right now.

A 4-hour version of ROTS may have me reaching for a little alcohol 😉 - yet hopefully everyone watching will enjoy it…

Thanks for the heads-up, Rodney-2187 👍

They used deleted scenes and the last episodes of The Cone Wars that cover the Siege of Mandalore and Order 66. It all blended together so well. The Clone Wars in very cinematic in style and there were a few transitions where it took me a second to tell if I was looking at footage from TCW or RotS. It was very well done and made the ending hit so much harder.

As mentioned above, there are several similar projects out there. I’m interested in seeing more of them now.

I love that they streamed it on Twitch. Felt more like a special event. I have the Twitch app on my Firestick and everything looked and sounded great on my TV/soundbar setup.
