Been out for awhile, and seeing as how i can't show this on any other thread, here it is.
This scene was shown at a star wars convention and supposedly is suppose to be a scene added for the blu ray release of ROTJ

but to keep my theory going:
and to nitpick, there's only been 5 Star Wars celebrations (over 10 years), so calling it 'a star wars convention' seems a little understated. and the cracking down thing is no longer happening, as you can tell from the link you posted which is over a month old.
