I’ve been trying to make Luke start on Dagobah work, but the briefing/reunion scenes on the Rebel Cruiser are a problem. I need to somehow place Luke in the crowd and do closeups of him, but there’s very little footage available for this. So it might not be possible after all…)

Small update: I will use xxtelecine7xx’s ROTJ edit for many visual effects.
This will save me A LOT of time, even though I’ll change something in each scene (mostly CC).
I want to thank him again, and I’ll be sure to credit him for basically all lightsaber and laser bolts’ shots.

Yeah, basically it enhances lightsabers, all lasers, the Falcon engine, DSII explosion…
I probably could have done that myself (lasers… not so sure about lightsabers), but this saves me bunch of time, and it looks really cool.

They do look a little blurry in comparsion to the PT and ST sabers/lasers, though.

I also prefer to be referred to as “TNT”, not “Freezing”.

I thought you said you wouldn’t put in stuff that looks too modern (e.g. the Obi-Wan vs. Vader remake) in comparsion to the other stuff in your original trilogy edits?
Also, do you plan on changing the Force ghost effects to be more like… (The Rise of Skywalker spoilers ahead)

I wasn’t actually sure about adding them. But this is different from fan films, because these are scenes that we are supposed to have watched before ROTJ.

ughh…i don´t like this. it looks terrible for me.nothing from the newer movies should insert in the good,old movie.they don´t have the quality and colours from them.leave the flashbacks…
…but,if you like it,you do all right.it´s your version and do what you feel is right.

I don’t think you gain anything with the flashbacks.
You have Alec Guinness and Mark Hamill, two great actors, together.
If anything we want to see more of them, with less distractions, not cut away to other stuff.
I get that you want to do one cohesive saga.
But remember that Obi-Wan is not being 100% truthful and tells it to Luke (“from a certain point of view”).
On the prequels he’s also like that, he’s not a 100% pure character.
So I’d keep that dialog as it is, since it gives the saga a more mature undertone.
The Jedi are “good” but not saints 😉

Here is a suggestion: can you edit Jabba the Hutt to make him look less like a puppet/practical effect and more like as if he was actually on set?
