Why do you laugh at the truth?
I laugh at all the truths you post. But here’s a little secret…they aren’t any such thing.
But Serenity is great too.
Hm. It’s better than Bushwhacked, Safe, maybe The Message, and Heart of Gold. That could be great I guess.

Using decimals is pointless and stupid. If you want more resolution, use a scale with range 100. It saves you typing pointless dots.
The 0 - 100 system disgusts me.
Then why are you using it?
I don’t use that shit. I use the 0 - 10 system with decimals.

Sorry to break it to you but he’s right…
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
If you’re comparing Star Wars to other sci-fi films you’re making a big mistake (because it’s not sci-fi).
Star Wars is definitely a 10.
If you’re comparing Star Wars to other sci-fi films you’re making a big mistake (because it’s not sci-fi).
Similarly if you’re comparing anime to anything that’s not crap you’re making a big mistake (because that’s what it is).
If you’re comparing Star Wars to other sci-fi films you’re making a big mistake (because it’s not sci-fi).
Yes it is.

But there is no sci to be fi’ed.

Fine. Adventure. Raiders of the Lost Ark is a 10, and nothing in the Star Wars trilogy breaks 8 on that scale either. 8 is good. We like 8. But it’s not perfect.
It’s almost like film ratings are totally subjective.
Keep Circulating the Tapes.

Fuck you.
My scale goes to 11.
“In the future it will become even easier for old negatives to become lost and be “replaced” by new altered negatives. This would be a great loss to our society. Our cultural history must not be allowed to be rewritten.” - George Lucas
I use an 11-point scale in base 8.

10 and 100 are not the same number so unless they happen to merge at some point in time you’re wrong.
Brett Sheridans -100 to 0 rating system is a personal favorite of mine.
P.S.
He’s a member of the “Schmoes Know Show”. A great show for movies! A lot of fun personalities and awesome discussion/analysis of all things film.

Mine too – as long as I remember to watch whatever movie I’m watching backward. Otherwise I just get confused.

It is about time you stop embarrassing yourself. Ranking system is about the range and relative difference between each score. The system is the same if it has the same range, whether you count with some numbers, other numbers, stars, portion of cake, length of penis, or whatever.

I find the 0 - 100 system to be aesthetically unappealing. I don’t recall saying that it didn’t make sense or anything like that.

They merge 90 later.
I also prefer the ten point scale with decimals, but I found that if I have a long list of rankings, I can use 1/3 less space if I use an “implied” decimal point instead of a literal one. A 10-point scale with implied decimals has all the normal advantages of a 10-point scale over a 100-point scale, but without the wasted space.
