It’s interesting because from a certain point of view the Nolan Batman films are the only live action ones that aren’t garbage (though I do like Returns).

I don’t think it is at all fair to call Batman 89 and Returns “garbage”.

A certain crazy point of view…

As you can see, there are only four Batman films really worth watching. (Though I found Affleck to be surprisingly good and the only redeeming quality of the latest Superman movie.) And it’s no coincidence that the two best feature the Joker. Batman is simply boring without the Joker.
I don’t see any of that.
That’s concerning. You might wanna consult an optometrist.
This is one of the times during the Bale films where it felt like a parody to me. When I was in the theater, my first thought was it looked like two cosplayers meeting outside a venue before they stand in line to get Conroy’s autograph…
"We’re over at the Marriott. Rooms are pretty nice, plus they have an airport shuttle"
"I’m at the Hilton across the street. Cable selection is crappy, but free continental breakfast"
DoJ> Batman Returns.

“Watch Batman: The Animated Series and/or read the comics, then we’ll talk.”
I don’t have to do either of those to know that statement was ridiculous.
Regardless of how you feel about Returns, it is not boring.
The Person in Question
I can’t think of a single movie featuring Christopher Walken that’s boring.
I can. A View To A Kill stars him as the villain and it’s the worst and most boring Bond movie IMO.
.
I haven’t seen A View to a Kill in ages, though now that you mention it, I do recall it being a pretty tedious movie.
It isn’t good but boring?! It is absolutely insane in every way.

Balls of Fury, The Stepford Wives, and Click were a chore to sit through for me.
Caligula’expanded OST, V2 Released
The Shining’s complete OST
Ghidorah, The Tree-Headed Monster (English dub synched to Toho cut)
It isn’t good but boring?! It is absolutely insane in every way.
The villain is a rich guy who cheats at horse racing. Insane? Yep. Boring? Definitely.
I like the title song though. Pure 80s cheese, and I love that.

has anyone else wondered what batman smells like after he takes off that rubber diving suit? I mean how in hell doesnt he get heat-stoke smacking crooks around in that thing? Has it got a built in air conditioner? I’d prefer cotton and normal fabrics personally, like they had up till the 80’s versions.

Likewise. I’m dead tired of the rubber Batsuits.
- 1943: Batman, 15-chapter serial starring Lewis Wilson as Batman and Douglas Croft as Robin
- 1949: Batman and Robin, 15-chapter serial starring Robert Lowery as Batman and Johnny Duncan as Robin
nothing after 1949 is REALLY Batman. You had Adam West in the 60’s…and then a slew of shit-covered, muppet-fart campy movies…then the ‘dark knight’ trilogy…(which I enjoyed a lot but doesn’t compare to the serials of the 40’s)
Finnius has spoken. All who deign to oppose my view shall spend eternity sucking wet farts out of dead pigeons.
Why is nobody acknowledging this list? For the life of me, I never expected to see this.
Especially since neither of those things are films.

They were shot and presented on film, so I give it a pass and a light endorsement.
