Be careful what you wish for...
Talking about girls, today circumstances compelled me to leave the Chateau and move amongst the local human population.
While weighed down by my messages a young female looking looking very pale, with sunken dead eyes and an angry looking graze running up her arm shambled up to me and preceded to tell me about how she was recently assaulted and how the police were investigating it and how it pained her to ask but could I lend her a few quid to tide her over for the next forty days.
Not having much in the way of cash change on me I gave her exactly what she requested (with no expectation of getting it back not knowing who the woman was).
After crossing the road she looked at the coins and then at me and spent a few minutes making rude gestures at me while I walked away.
I was instantly reminded of this scene :

Girlfriend saw it and seemed to become jealous of my admiration for someone so beautiful and talented. Reminded her that she used to crush hard on Daniel Radcliffe a few years ago and had all kinds of pics of him everywhere. Pretended to a greater amount of jealousy than I had actually felt at this (was really more a slightly uncomfortable amusement). Seemed to cheer her up somewhat. Left to ponder strange nature of such things . . .
