sorry Ripplin. I'm done talking with Bingowings. I'm putting him on ignore. permanently. Bingowings, you are dead to me.
I have no idea what's going on, but would appreciate it if the dirty laundry could be aired by PM instead of filling my thread with such anger and foul language.

Sunday evening wedding = stupid. I don't care if it was the only time available. Why not just do it on a Tuesday afternoon?
%#$@!!!
Well, since my QFT post was unsuccessful in fulfilling its ulterior objective (distracting the thread from the ongoing feud), allow me to instead attempt the direct approach:
Warb, Bingo, I like ya both and consider you both to be decent and upstanding contributers to this forum. That being said, Grand Moff Tarkin bears quoting:
This bickering is pointless.
May I respectfully suggest that you guys either take this tiff to PM-land, or -- better yet! -- utilize the "ignore" feature on one another? Either option would be good for the overall health of the forum/community, and would help to prevent the clear and present danger of your flame war spreading like wildfire to other threads and derailing them. I don't think I'm out of line in pointing out that it's already overflowed beyond the original district of the Dayv cancer thread (and presumably, the politics thread before that).
So whaddya say? If you guys can't get along with or ignore one another, would you at least consider "taking it outside?" Debating germane points about relevant points in their respective threads is one thing, but you guys are just squabbling. And in my opinion, it's getting a little old.
EDIT: Oops; guess I took too long in typing that, and developments have ensued in the meantime. Warb, thanks for taking the initiative.
We now return you to your regularly-scheduled randomness.
Every 27th customer will get a ball-peen hammer, free!
Then you would get the moody blues on a manic Monday.

What Akwat said. And yes Warb, you've already put Bingo on ignore, so let's stop talking about it.
Also, I filmed myself doing a little dance to cheer you guys up.
somehow your dance doesn't cheer me up. I have to say I am seriously thinking about leaving the forum again. I'm sick of dealing with people like Bingo and ABC, I'm very upset over the Dayv situation, Talking politics is done, C3PX is gone, Ferris and I hate each other and he seems to be gone, I'm miserable at the moment. I'm not really sure what is keeping me here.

apparently you didn't read previous post. I'll quote it.

Dude, I don't know why you're snapping at me. Did you see that I edited the post you just quoted?

Let's keep dancing.

sorry, I didn't see the edit before I posted. I apologize for snapping at you, I'm in a bad mode.
edit: I deleted the post where I snapped at Akwat.
Especially when you consider that not a long time ago Sidney was running out of water and the country was suffering from Bush fires.
That's Sidney who lives in Sydney.

indeed it is.
Akwat, could you please delete your signature? I really don't find it funny.

But...but....is funny!!!
C'mon, admit it. You smiled just for a moment.
Here, maybe you need to see it again.

Yes, I remember those fires too. :( I know a few Aussies through the Buckethead forum and they give us updates about such things. I've seen videos of the flooding too. Amazing to see regular city streets with literal rivers crashing through.
On a semi-related note, in the summer, Ontario and parts of Quebec and the border states experienced an earthquake. I didn't feel it. However, later that day, my town also had a tornado! Quite the timing.
During a period when I lived down south in Englandshire, the bottom of our street which was built on a flood plain flooded and being on the coast the kids all had boats, while it was no consolation to the people with property damage it was rather romantic in a odd way having children boating down the road.
I have friends in Lewes in Sussex and they are constantly getting flooded but yes the deaths and the destruction are strong reminders that we are tenants on this planet and everything we hold dear can be wiped out in an instant.
In Bangladesh this is a constant problem.
Hopefully times like this where relatively rich countries are suffering will help forge a bit of solidarity with poorer countries where this isn't a once in while event.
sorry, I didn't see the edit before I posted. I apologize for snapping at you, I'm in a bad mode
No worries, man. And FWIW, I hope you'll reconsider leaving the forum. I'm still pretty bummed out about C3PX's departure and VFP's mysterious dissapearance; the last thing we need right now is for a respected regular member to leave. If the current atmosphere on the forum is getting to tangled for you right now, maybe it would be beneficial to take a brief hiatus to allow enough time for some bad water to flow under the bridge? I'd hate to see ya leave long-term.
Akwat, could you please delete your signature? I really don't find it funny.
You got it. No offense was intended; I was merely trying to convey my amazement at the level of drama (some might say soap-opera-level drama) that that thread managed to generate, without actually posting in it and thereby getting caught up in it myself. But it wasn't meant to be offensive, so in light of your request I'll delete it post-haste.
Phew. I think I've spoken my peace. Sorry for all the long posts. I'm moving on now...

thankyou for removing the sig and for your kind words, Akwat.
You should've put the one of the little girl falling back after she eats instead. :p
That's more adorable than random ;-)
People don't like my FrinkFest 1.
I find that kind of sad.
Heh heh heh.
