Who cares what offensive thing someone said years ago?

Well you don’t care about any offensive things said at any time but ok.

Except Nazis, he hates those guys.

mfm is Indy confirmed?

(I confess that I misremembered this as a Blues Brothers quote and discovered my mistake when googling to find out which one said it.)

Disney for one, apparently.

I’ve got to be honest, I was really hoping Frink would go for that angle.

Wasn’t Disney a Nazi sympathizer? And you’re right, I don’t care about offensive things said today, especially not what a lot of my contemporaries claim are offensive, but I can at least sort of understand where people are coming from when they get pissed off about things said today, but getting mad at things said years ago, especially in jest, is just baffling to me.

My daughter and I fed snacks to the dog, and wife said “this is why the dog weighs 80 pounds.”

And my first thought was “In Soviet Russia, 80 pounds weighs you.”

Are you sure she just didn’t laugh because it wasn’t funny?

Nonsense, Soviet Russia jokes are always funny.

In Soviet Russia, that joke laughed at her.

Plausible…

I took my mother to the grocery store last night and was planning to walk around with her in there, but this guy REEKED of it. My nose was already full of pressure from…I dunno, allergies? Barometric pressure? (I seriously don’t know)…so the stench on top of that made me go sit in the car. Yay.

I take credit for this one.

I have no idea what that means!

The right people will know what it means.

I get the feeling that this is an “Emperor’s New Clothes” sort of thing, where being one of “the right people” (or thinking that one is) isn’t actually that desirable.

Of course, this should be obvious because Frink is the one determining who the right people are.

Or Ripplin came here because I sent him a PM on FE (along with several other people) to let them know my ROTR workprint is ready for their review and the links are here?

You can decide which is more plausible.
