I've never even heard of Jeeves and Wooster or Fry & Laurie. I'll have to look them up.

The TV series of Jeeves and Wooster was developed from a series of books by P.G. Wodehouse and starred Hugh Laurie (House) and Stephen Fry. Then they had another series together which used their names for the title. :) That much I do know, but beyond that...? Haha.

You, at the least, know half of that act.
Rumpole was a firm favorite of my late father.
It was a prominent fixture and formative feature of my childhood.
I love his constant references to "She Who Must Be Obeyed" (his wife).
The BBC radio version with Timothy West in the title role is well worth tracking down too as it covers even more of the stories which were largely autobiographical accounts of John Mortimer's own experiences as a barrister.
I loved Benny Hill.
The Jeeves And Wooster stories are some of the most hilarious bits of (now period) British class satire (brilliantly brought to live by Fry and Laurie).
If you like that sort of thing I also recommend the television adaptations of Mapp And Lucia for much the same thing but focusing mostly on the other side of the gender divide.
