I've lost virtually all interest in sports. The more I think about it, the bigger waste of time it is to follow sports with anything more than a passing interest. Some people I know invest themselves too much into sports outcomes.
I don't hate sports. I just think we as a society place waaaaay too much emphasis on them, and this lends these sports leagues to be highly corrupt and profit-driven.

Damn Stephen Fry is good. Why would anybody (including Americans) want to listen to Harry Potter being read in an American accent? Riddikulus. Fry's Hagrid is so close it sounds like Robbie Coltrane is sitting next to him doing the lines.

Unless I'm mistaken Soccer is just a distortion of Association (as in Association Football) so American football, Australian Rules, Rugby (League and Union) and Association Footy are all football.
American Football should have a catchy special international name.
