thank you to those that expressed concern for the coming hurricane. It should be here in several hours. Good chance my power is going to out. Could be some flooding in my basement. We'll just have to see what happens. The local new channels are going hurricane crazy right now. We brought in alot of stuff that could potentially blow around in this thing. Hopefully we will make it through without much problem. Irene has weakened a little and will not be as bad as they thought a couple of days ago. But there could still be a lot of flooding(cause the ground is already a sponge due to the heavy rain we've had this month) and some wind damage. Wish us luck.

Well Irene has all but left us. It wasn't as bad as the local news is acting. There is flooding on major roads and all over the place. Its a mess at the shore. Wind wasn't too bad. The power never went out, which I thought for sure would have, but I'm glad it didn't. We have some flooding in our basement, which we'll be dealing with all day. It could have been worse, so I consider us lucky.

My first Blu-Ray disc, one for the Lost in Space movie, has almost a whole minute of unskippable content. A warning sign, the Alliance Logo, a pop-up menu guide, and the Alliance Logo AGAIN!!! >:(
