my real concern is what is this thing going to do to my beloved Jersey Shore? They are evacuating the shore area right now. No one has said anything about evacuations around here. Our house is good strong sturdy one, I think it will be able to stand it. But we do have trees in the area, if one should fall in the right direction and hit our roof . . . Not to mention the dangers of flying debris and whatnot. Also our area has had a lot of rain, the combination of what we've had already + Hurricane Irene, could cause a lot of flooding.

It might push their shooting schedule back a bit. But hopefully it will just be cancelled.

Just finished watching season one of Parker Lewis Can't Lose. Man, what a great show! :D I'm sure I would've loved it during the original run, but I didn't have Fox at the time and once other channels started airing it, I seem to remember only seeing it twice, and it was the same episode each time. (same thing happened with the 90's Superman cartoon)

Oh, and I can see how it wasn't just an inspiration for Scrubs (another favorite), it was a MASSIVE inspiration! Scrubs is pretty much PLCL set in a hospital!

if you are referring to that stupid show with the character named "the situation", I don't give a shit about that show. That show has nothing to do with the real Jersey Shore. I hate that show.

My joke is also layered. It includes a pun about the action of the hurricane, has a dig at drugs and guns in Jersey, then absurdly suggests that the hurricane may be cancelled. It doesn't even mention the TV show.

^Wishing you safety. First an earthquake, now a hurricane. The worst we get here in AZ is big fires. Actually, there was one pretty close to my town in June. Hang in there.
