Well i was annoyed that Qui-Gon was not in the film but i do hope that it and along with some other good deleted scenes will appear in the ep3 dvd.

Word is there will be plenty of deleted scenes on the DVD.

But you are right, that Qui-Gon scene NEEDED to be in there. The whole explanation about how the Jedi disappear was way too short and way too vague.
