Well, this is turning out to be a comedy of errors. First my scanner goes down, then my friend's scanner stops working. Finally, my wife went to scan these at work and it turns out that her scanner is only black and white. <sigh> So anyways, she did scans of a few pages (in b&w unfortunately) so you could at least get an idea if it might be useful. If so, I think it may be easier to just send you the actual magazine itself or send it to someone else trusted on the boards who could scan it and either torrent it and/or post it to usenet.

Thanks for your efforts, it was really kind of you to do this for me.

However, I am pretty sure I have this magazine somewhere and I should be able to get colour scans from it.

As you may have read, I'm not going to be around for a while so I would be grateful if you manage to get it colour scanned in the meantime.

Ell: I don't think so. This magazine was released when the original film was and I've had it since I was a kid. Unless of course the 20th anniversary one you have is a reprint...

Hi Jambe,

first: Building Empire is GREAT. The best fanmade project ever seen! Thank you very much.

I have a small Jedi collection. Some cut scenes and backstage pics (different res). I also have a Interview DVD calles "behind the masks" with interviews of Baker, Bulloch, Colley, Daniels, Hagon, Meyhew and Prowse. Its a Germany production from 2004. Moreover I have three inofficial DVDs with interviews: "The Stars of Star Wars" (1999), "the unauthorised star wars story" (1999), "star wars vs star trek" (2001).
If you need something, just tell me, I can send it to you.

Can´t wait to see RETURNING TO JEDI

Thanks for the offer. I think I have all of the stuff you mentioned. I intend to make some decent headway into RTJ very soon (after some more travels!).

I reckon it will be finished in late summer/early autumn (maybe even late autumn)

I hope to be getting a laptop in may so that I can work whilst I'm away.

I have the Animal Icons the Animals of Star Wars from Animal Planet. It has some ROTJ stuff in it.

I really like building empire and was very glad to hear about Returning to Jedi..

After reading that many of you didn't like the fact that 'Building Empire' was encoded in PAL. I am wondering if I should start again on 'Returning to Jedi' in NTSC format.

With this in mind, is anybody able to send me OCP's ROTJ on a single layer disc (i.e Just the film)?

Hey Jambe, did you not recieve the ones I sent you? I did split ROTJ CE DL onto two SL for you and Rikter and I did send them the same day...

Yah. I'd honestly love to make a copy of BE for a lot of my friends but unfortunately it will do me no good. And with BR and HD-DVD out, eventually I'll have no need for a PAL player. I'd like to get everything in NTSC if possible.

KEEP IT PAL as that is the format you are capturing and using or do both

Keep it PAL! It's easy enough to do a conversion after the fact if anyone wants to.
