Help: looking for... 'Iron Man 3' - Extended Edition in 1080p

OK…I know that this is universally hated, but I was hoping that someone could put together the Chinese edition of Iron Man 3. Hopefully, English subtitles can be added for the spoken Mandarin/Chinese language. I’ve done a little searching, and I have come across at least the English words that could be used for the Chinese translation (unfortunately not in subtitle format, but it’s at least a start.)

Anyone have access to the Chinese Blu Ray to get this started and be willing to spend a little time finding or creating a subtitle for the Chinese parts?

I don’t read comics, so the Mandarin thing didn’t bother me at all. I love all Marvel movies. Anyway, how does the Chinese version differ?

It adds some scenes that are strictly a) nothing but Mandarin and add little if any to the story, and b) is an OBVIOUS used for blatant product placements.

Interesting idea, I only have the standard IM3 on blu ray but I’ll keep my eye out. I also have the phase 2 box set with some of the other deleted scenes; I’ll use this comment to remember this request.

It literally only adds two scenes that only relate to a Chinese doctor in the film. Nothing that makes the movie any better.

I would also love to be able to get my hands on the Chinese scenes.

I’ve been searching for years. They exist (seen on YouTube, but can’t use), but nobody has indicated that they have it or can get it. I’ve tried myself with various international vendors, but with zero luck.

How do you know that the extra footage is here? It mentions absolutely nothing about Chinese exclusive footage.

From my understanding, there are basically a 2-3 mini inserted scenes along with other very mini scenes that are basically just product placement scenes. All in all, it adds about 4 minutes of footage.

One of the special features is “Chinese ending”

I’ve got the boxset and it’s only a portion of the full ending. There’s still about 2 or 3 other scenes that appear dotted through the rest of the film. One is in the 1999 opening, and the other two are elsewhere, I forget the specifics.

Longer scene with Dr Wu in 1999, a scene after Tony threatens the Mandarin on TV with Dr Wu watching it on TV, and a longer ending with Wu talking to JARVIS and his assisant about the surgery.

There is a horrendous quality version of one scene on Dailymotion, but it can be fixed up.
