OK- my mother picked this up at a garage sale for 25 cents and gave it to me as a kid. Little did she know it was a first edition paperbound Star Wars comic book that contained the Marvel comic strip of the entire movie in one volume, with several introductions at the beginning. The book was printed in 1977, before Star Wars became a hit. The book is in almost perfect condition.

Anyone know how much something like this would go for on Ebay?

Not much I'm afraid, right now they are going for around 9 bucks.

I'd say keep it, for sentimental reasons.

about 6 years ago i finally finished my set (was prob only building it for about a year/year and a half) of the whole run of marvel star wars comics. I have a few duplicates because i bought some in bulk auctions. If people would be interested in the dupilcates Ill pull them out and see which ones i have next time im at my parents.

I have a couple of these, including not just the 1st one, but a spanish reprint of number 5. I also have one of those cool large format "treasury" editions reprinting issues 1-3.

DAYV, next time im at my parents ill go through the collection and see what i have doubles of (I havent actually done this even though ive had them for a few years now, I kept track of what i was missing, and once i got the complete set i didnt cataloge the dups). Once i get the list ill send you a PM or email with the list. (maybe i can get my brother to go through them for me since he's at my parents). Then you can forward what you dont want to Sessler, or ill contact him after.
