Question about a possible forum bug?

So I have a 50x50 less than 5kb avatar I want to use, yet everytime I have tried to upload it it says it's not valid...

Is this a bug that has come about with the new server?

YOU HAVE TO EMAIL THE AVATAR TO JAY, SO THAT HE CAN ADD IT TO THE LIST OF AVATARS FROM WHICH YOU CAN CHOOSE TO USE.
