First off, watch your language. You take this stuff way too personally. Second, it is a very legetimate prequel complaint, and you are in no position to judge the validity of PT complaints. Midi-chloreans removed a lot of the mystery of the Force. It went for this vague energy field that some people/families could use, to "oh, he's got a lot of midi-chloreans, he's strong in the Force". Slapping a scientific explanation on something that didn't need one was pointless and dumb. It was really only to show that Anakin was "the choosen one."

Exactly. Mythology and science have never been good pals.

Darth Justin speaks the truth.
"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." - Goering.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." - Goebbels.

"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." - Orwell.

I really don't care either way. Science or not, the Force is still mystical.

Midichlorians don't explain the Force--just why it can be used by some and not others.

Admiral Ackbar and General Dodonna say may the force be with us/you. They aren't talking about midichlorians. It's definitely more mystical than scientific.

The Force will ALWAYS be mystical, because that was the good thing about it.

Star Wars is not science fiction it's space opera fantasy and is based on classic myths and legends.

Didn't Lucas ever visit the Magic of the Myth exhibit?
